The Whole Armor of God 2

Ephesians 6:10-12KJV

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Tonight we go into the next part of the Whole Armor of God verse 11-12 cover the reason for needing His power and His Armour.

This is a charge spoken to the church not just to any person! You need the WHOLE Armor if you know God! If you are a part of the church!

Romans 13:12KJV

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

The night is far spent – we don’t have that much time left to waste

The day is at hand – it is time to wake up and get started! Time to cast off our old works our old ways and stop fighting with our mouths and start fighting with God’s armor!

Why do we need it?

·         So we can stand against the wiles of the devil

The “wiles” of the devil aren’t just his lies, craftiness, cunning, not even just his false doctrines alone they are the ways he uses them against us!

Ephesians 4:14KJV

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
