The bible is the only authority, Is this true.
Scripture is the Christian’s sole infallible rule for determining what we are to believe and how we are to live.
Sola scriptura (Latin for 'by scripture alone') is a Christian theological doctrine held by most Protestant Christian denominations, in particular the Lutheran and Reformed traditions, that posits the Bible as the sole infallible source
1. The work of the Evil make opposition between two things that should be united.
This in turn was borrowed from the Greek διάβολος diábolos, "defamer",[9] from διαβάλλειν diabállein, "to calumny" from διά diá, "across, through" and βάλλειν bállein, "to throw",
Divide and conquer. This phrase was used by Julius Caesar in his battles against the Gauls, whom he opposed among themselves in order to defeat them.

We need who explain to us the scripture, as Jesus did to his disciples, the Church is his body and he teach us what is the meaning of the scripture.
We see how Jesus in the Gospel explain to his disciples the meaning of the Old Testament and the Meaning of his preaching. The disciples continue with this work explaining, because if not people can mislead themselves.
2 Pe 3:15–16. And consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, also wrote to you, 16 speaking of these things as he does in all his letters. In them there are some things hard to understand that the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction, just as they do the other scriptures.
In the Old Testament God give them the law trough Moises, And Moises with his 70 elders has the final decision in practical matters, he never make a million of copies of the tables and send to his people and say use only this and is enough. Now, God give the law and the authority of his interpretation to Moises and the 70 elders.
