6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Let’s take a road trip from Union to Greenville via 18 to

God has placed some ROADSIGNS up on the way to
Heaven:

I. God Is Our Father. v.6

We enter into salvation. v.6a
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,
John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Romans 10:9–10

Our stamina increases. v.7c
as ye have been taught,

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Our service increases. v.7d
abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Colossians 3:17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
