In 1974 Newsweek magazine carried an article “The Doomsday Effect” saying in 1982 all nine planets would be in perfect alignment in relation with the sun causing such gravitational pull that it would cause great storms ending the World.
It was calculated that the millenium would take place in 1868, 1972, 1979, 1992, 1993, 1996, 2000, 2001 ushering in the Rapture.

Colin Deal wrote “101 Reasons Why The Rapture Would Take Place In 1988”
In July 1988 an ad was place in Charisma magazine warning of the Rapture taking place in September 1988
