What does God want you to consider about your present circumstances?
Are you weighed down with the hardship of life?
Do you feel like not matter what you do, you can’t get your feet under you?
Does hardship in your life just seem endless; does it seem like it overshadows everything?
When hardship comes, when life oppresses you, when you feel you just can’t dig out from under the bad stuff and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel, then it’s time to ask yourself three important questions.
1. Are you living a life that is clean as God sees it? (Haggai 2:10-14)

v. 11 - Ask now - Are you living in faith?
++Your faith (belief) matters to God.
++v. 14 - Declares the Lord - Your good works cannot earn God’s favor
++God does not want your service until He has your heart.

v. 15 - Consider - When all these things are going wrong, do you turn to God or away?
++When you are on the wrong path, God uses obstacles to turn you back to Him
++v. 17 - Declares the Lord - God leaves the choice to you
++God does not want to crush you, He wants to turn you.

++God does not need your service, He just lets you find blessing in it

God does not want your service until He has your heart; he does not want to crush you, He wants turn you back to Him and accept Him as God. God prefers blessing over hardship.
