Living Out Purposeful Work

This is primarily based on your attitude
There is not special holy dust or divine anointing that will alter your thoughts towards your job and work in general
IT’S A CONSCIENTIOUS, DELIBERATE CHOICE

1. See work as an opportunity to make a positive impact on the world

Allow your light to shine before men
1 Peter 3:15 ESV
but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
Regardless of the work environment, you are not engaged in petty gossip, back stabbing, and lying
If expectations for the your job means you must compromise your Christian integrity - then you leave

2. Pray for opportunities to use our work for God’s purpose

Pursue excellence in our work as a testimony to God's grace
Share Story of women getting off of welfare

3. Surrender our plans and desires to God's will

Proverbs 16:3 ESV
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
