1. The Test Of Consistency.
Does it say the same thing?
2. The Test Of Commitment.
Does it leave anything out?
3. The Test Of Change.
Did the translators change anything because of a hidden agenda they may have had?
4. The Test Of Corruption
Are these translations corrupted from the Greek text they come from?
Is the New King James an update of the King James Bible like it claims?
Let’s look at the first question:

The King James Bible says
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
KJV
New World Translation says
No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father, is the one that has explained Him.
NWT
New American Standard says
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

Let’s look at the second question:
Is the New King James an update of the King James Bible like it claims?
Many people have asked about the mysterious symbol on the NKJV
Thomas Nelson Publishers (publishers of the NKJV) claim, on the inside-cover, the symbol, ". . .is an ancient symbol for the Trinity." But Acts 17:29, clearly FORBIDS such symbology: ". . . we ought NOT to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, GRAVEN BY ART and man's device."
And why does The Aquarian Conspiracy, a key New Age "handbook", bear a similar symbol? New Agers freely admit it represents three inter-woven "6"s or "666".

On the TV show "Charmed" a show about spells and occultic practices of three witches. The "NKJV symbol" is the show's primary symbol of witchcraft and is splattered throughout the series. Notice the "NKJV symbol" displayed on "The Book of Shadows". The Book of Shadows is commonly used in witchcraft and Satanism.
