Win the race
Philippians 3:11-17 (KJV)
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
Verse 11 If there is any way I can make it!
Paul wasn’t afraid he wasn’t able to make it he was humble and mindful that he needed to keep on guard at all times to make it
Luke 21:36 (KJV)
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
All too ofthen many Christians get too proud and think they’ve got it in the bag! They can’t lose this race. But believe me anyone can!
Verse 12 Don’t live as if I have already made it! Many of us say I’ve already read the end of the book I know how it comes out and Satan loses. But don’t get proud! Don’t forget those streets out there are made of concrete these walls of wood! I might lose out if I don’t keep pressing toward the mark!

Verse 13. I don’t take it for granted I have already made it I keep running this race!
This race we are in is a marathon not just a sprint! We can’t expect to run a few steps and win it all! We have got to keep running!
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (KJV)
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
Verse 14- 15 We must all be prepared to keep running if we will win this race!
2 Timothy 4:6-8 (KJV)
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
