Here we see in these last few verses in Romans Pauls doxology.
Doxology’s are all through the Bible and what they are is a praise from man given up to God for either creation or salvation.
Here we see Pauls doxology to God.
What makes His doxology here so unique is that he restates the major themes from the epistle.

The Gospel That Establishes a Relationship with Man (v25a)

The first thing Paul says here is that God is able and has sufficient power to establish those who trust in Him according to the true gospel that Paul and every true preacher and teacher, have clearly set forth.
This is why it is so important for us to preach the gospel accurately.
It is not my gospel not what we think but what the Bible says.
We may not like it or we may not want it to be true but if it is in the Bible then that is what we go by.
The Bible is the standard.
Sterizo which means to establish in this context means to be mentally settled, firmly rooted in the truth of the gospel.
For the unbeliever there is no certainty about God or His word, or the way of Salvation.
Thats why we see people try any and everything that they can to try and be happy, they are out there searching for something they will never find because the confidence that they are looking for is only found in the Gospel of Christ.
It is trough the gospel that God establishes the minds and hearts of believers in the truth, it settles us, grounds us, and makes us firm in Christ.
It is only believers that can be certain of our future and who controls it.

The Gospel That Proclaims Jesus Christ (v25b)

The second major claim in Pauls doxology is that the gospel that establishes men is the gospel that proclaims Jesus Christ.
We have talked in depth about the old life of Paul and how he was a Jew among Jews.
One of the main points that he wanted the chruch at Rome to understand was that Jesus was the Gospel.
That it was ok to still practice the old dietary laws and other traditions but that is just what they where was traditions, they did not hold any salvation and would allow someone to get to heaven.
We must proclaim Christ.
Christ is the only answer for the one that are lost and looking for help.
We have the answer and must share it.

The Gospel that Reveals Gods Mystery (vv 25c-27)

The Gospel that establishes a relationship with man, and that proclaims Jesus Christ also reveals Gods divine mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past.
Here the word for mystery dos not carry the same connotation that it does for us in modern english.
In this verse it refers to a part of Gods truth that was not revealed or that was only partially revealed in the Old Testament.
The big mystery of the New Testament as far as the chruch in Rome and in many other cities was the salvation of the Gentiles.
It was a mystery to them because of the fact that so much had been given to The Jews in the Old Testament that it was hard for some followers to understand why now salvation had been given to everyone.
Heres why, the salvation of the whole world was always part of the divine plan.
It was Israels job to point to God has the source of their blessings and was to be the example for all people.
They started looking too much to the inside and failed to share what they had with the rest of the world.
Instead of being different from the world they became like the world.
Romans 9:23–25 ESV
23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— 24 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? 25 As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’ ”
It was through Jesus Christ that God supremely revealed not only His great grace but also His great wisdom.
To Him, therefore, be the glory forever. Amen.
