Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Give God. Some praise and its place. Hallelujah. He is worthy of the praise. Hallelujah. Lord.

Thank you, Lord. He is good to us. Hallelujah. Thank you. Jesus. Thank you. Jesus, always exciting to be able to stand before you all in into worship with you.

And so now we're going to go ahead and dismiss the children to the other side there. So they can go ahead and get their children's church on. Hallelujah. And they know where they going. All the beautiful babies.

All of God's beautiful people. Amen.

We, we got to shout out the the Cooper family in the building. Amen.

And this is we thought we saw Brittany come in with the baby a few weeks ago. But this is the first time we seen the whole family with the Better Business Bureau. Look at that and you just let my wife hold that baby as much as she needs to do that way.

The energy here at the church and not at the house.

I'll be filled with new baby Joy right here at the church. Say, Amen. What is great to see you guys this morning. Great to see you guys more in and out. So, let me just say, thank you Granny for joining us this morning as well and worship with us as well. Granny was one of the young people who came out with us during the Revival this week at out there at Campbell park or not, for at Bartlett Park. And so she said she was coming today and she did and she's excited to be baptized later today at 4. Amen. Amen. And there is a number, I don't even have the full number but I know there's going to be a great, many people being baptized today at 4, so I'm excited about that. Boy will get the information at the end of service so everyone knows where to go for that but we just got through celebrating again. This was the Revival week for the 7 by 7 this week and so we were out there partner with City on the hill at Bartlett Park. In that area. I'm at the tent during the week and if you went out there, I mean, even one day, you know, that it was a, it was definitely a powerful powerful week of worship there and what a mighty work. God is doing in the community and I'm just thankful that we were able to be a part of it. To be quite Frank and I got to give City on the hill props cuz they did a fantastic job. If you were there, you saw the work that these brothers and sisters was doing. They did a fantastic job with the with everything, with the setup with with, with the, the whole orientation of what was going on. The schedule of the day, if you will, how they were working with evangelizing everyday and the community, it was fantastic man. So, I took them and their pastor, Pastor Mike Conway, they did a fantastic job. Now, today I'm going to do something a little different for me because on Tuesday night, I had the opportunity to speak a little bit, and I felt like on Tuesday, I felt like I took a rag and threw it in. You know, filled up the tank with water to the rag in the water and it picked up the rag and it folded it over and gave it. A gentle squeeze. I felt like there was still so much in the rain. That's a really ring this out. You know me, you would take a wet rag, hang it up and still dripping. Good enough. Right. And so that's how I kind of felt Sunday and but I couldn't get past what was left in the rag, right? And so that's that's kind of weird where we're at today. So we're going to do is I have never seen this but that's why I say hello on Orthodox. Never actually preached from the same scripture in the same week or at least reference to things. Like that in the same week, but they were going to do that because I got to start there to get to where we going the title. Today is a Revival that transforms again week, we're finishing up. We're closing out this revival week today and with the baptism at 4. So today, I wanted to go a little deeper into this and God, let me to say, you know, we can go a little deeper into this because Revival is so important. However, Revival many of times doesn't complete the task, and we're going to talk about this this morning. We want to talk about a Revival that transforms. Not just a Revival, for the sake of having Revival, but a Revival that transforms, all right. And so the scripture that we used on Tuesday night was Matthew chapter 7 verse number seven and eight, we're going to look at 7 right now as we begin. So if you're here and you're able to stand, can we stand for the reading of God's where we're going to take a look at this first scripture and then we'll go on from there. All right. Matthew chapter 7 verse number 7. Jesus is speaking and Jesus says ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and it will be open to you, amen? Father God, thank you, Lord, for your word today and I thank you God, for all those who are here to hear it. I pray that as we discuss your word, I pray that you use, I will leave no Rock unturned and you will simply reveal yourself to us inwardly in a way that is undeniable that we would know that guy. You love us that you are that you are real. That you are true and truthfully. You are the one who causes us to be revived and to transform the way we want to be transformed to look like you to be like you in every way that we possibly can we want to be your holy people set apart for your good work. It's in your name Jesus that I pray and ask it all but everyone say Amen. Hey man for you see that? Can we just wave at each other around the room with a friendly way? But gentle smile or hey? How you doing? Hey, I like that shirt and maybe a compliment. Hey, you got a pretty baby, you know that type of stuff, you know.

Amen. So let's talk Revival, first and foremost seeing as how, you know, we have Revival this week. Revival by definition. Revival is a restoration of Life. Alright, Revival is a restoration of life. So even this week as we're going about having Revival in the park, the purpose of it wasn't just so that the church can say we spent the money and did some stuff. You know, the purpose of it was to see people brought back to life peoples, spiritual life, Tree store because we know that a great, many people are not living a spiritually there. They live their life, disconnected from God, we can talk about this little bit today but look like disconnected from God and thereby live separate from all of what God provides eat. They're unaware of it altogether. And so when you live your life separate from God, you're living a life, you're living a dead life. You're living a life. That truthfully will not be fruitful in a way that produce his life and you and also those who are So, as we're, you know, join and partner together to have Revival there in the park, we're hoping that those who are in the community, who are laws, what will be able to connect with them in? And they'll be able to come out, get the gospel here, the gospel of Christ, and so respond to the gospel, by the power of the Holy Spirit. However, the Revival we had in the park, that's an event. The Revival that we didn't the part that that's, that would be an event. That would be something that would that would be, you know, cuz after the week is done is done, right? You know, the 10th defense pact up, you know, is at 10 is going to be out there next year. You know, we'll do it again next year. The tent is going. So the question then becomes what happens after Revival. What happens after Revival. What happens after life has been restored? What happens at that particular time now. I know that we are all in a general sense. We're all probably pretty familiar with the circulatory pulmonary, resuscitation technique, I said that to sound smart. Yes I said it like that. So I put the jacket on. I want people to take me serious when I get this microphone to talk, you know. So yeah CPR better known as CPR but the circulatory pulmonary resuscitation that's what the see if you're actually stands for. All right, I didn't know that. I was like my chest compression Britain and the circulatory pulmonary resuscitation. All right and what is it? CPR is a it's a rescue technique. It's a it is a It's a, it's a life-saving measure if you if a person's heart is not beating they are dead. If a person's heart is not beating, you know, there's no brain function, their lungs are expanding and Contracting. Oxygen is not being circulated throughout the body, through the blood, they're dead. And so what CPR does is as the picture shows as well as you do you get your hands you know it and you push down on the chest cavity and it it compresses the heart in order to cause the blood to continue circulating. Even though there might not be that that electrical you know, charging the heart that caused it to do it on its own. So you become, you become that the pump if you would have pump the heart and circulate the blood. And so, if you look at like a person, for example, who Jumped into the beach water or pool and they find themselves in the situation where the circumstances or the environment that they're em. While they're trying to swim is more difficult than what their swimming ability, allows them to overcome and that person drown, right? Well, you know lifeguard, bring him out. Whoever brings about the water and they look and see what we did. Not breathe. If they don't have a heart beat. Now you can use CPR to circulate the blood to circulate. And then again helped life to be revived in that particular situation. But the question is, is after that person is revived right? You do CPR in that person's revive, there is a restoration of life. What comes next? Because if that person who is brought out the water and is revived no heartbeat, no, no no pause, no, no breathing. That person is revived if they get up off the ground and they jump right back into the water again and do the same things that got them to where they were in the first place. Then one would say that though, there was Revival, there was no transformation. And this is why we were looking for. We're not only looking for a Revival, but we're looking for a transformation. Now, I have a, a video is really brief note. Audio is like the fifth 14 seconds. And if you seen it before, don't say anything. Cuz you just chances are you've probably seen it before. But I must do this quick video clip because I think if you see this video this video in of itself in 14 seconds, we'll priest the whole sermon that I'm about to preach. Okay, let's look at the video. I think it's going to help you to better understand that. Can you play that play? That video. Here it is. Do you have a little? She tried it. It fell into this little crack in the ground or in a. Pull it out the ground. Look at the sheet. Look at

No, Titi KO back but let's give a little commentary while we go back to be a real quick, then she was walking jumped into this hole, right? It was that she had no life. If it wasn't going to make it out this whole, but he got help. He got out. He said, I'm free. Thank you for pausing right there. I'm free. I'm out the whole. I can, I think I'm free to go Grey's where I want to go. Grays, right? I can, I can run, I can jump, I can be happy. Write thank, thank you, God. This heat would say thank you, Lord, for saving me from this hole that I found myself. By the way, this evening to put itself in the Hole, by the way, to nobody put the sheets in the whole. Does she put itself in the hole? But he got to save, Hallelujah? Right? I have been revived, I have new life. Okay? Play, not as she runs out.

And then turned around and then did the same thing that got them in there in the first place. And this is what I'm talkin about. We are the sheet. Who could blame who put this crack in the ground?

If Only They want to put this crappy, bro, I would have fell in it. You can't do nothing about the crack. The crack is the crack is there, you know. I own it. I just should have been more excited. This should have been a bridge. All these should have could have would his right? But the point is, is the sheet after being revived after being saved from the whole chosen of yourself to run back and jump back into the Hall. Head first stop, right? But this is the point.

The moment that she was pulled from the hole, that's the Revival. And it's a very powerful moment. One could even be overcome with Emotion and Joy. I've been stuck knows how long that she was stuck in the hole, right? How long have we been stuck in the hole?

In the moment Revival comes is, of course, it's all God. Thank you Lord. I've been stuck for so long, I've been dealing with this thing for so long. I've been hurting about this for so long. I've been losing sleep about this for so long. I've been in pain for so long. I've been need a healing for so, whatever the case for so long and God you have pulled me out. You have brought me back to life. I have been revived, right? It's a very powerful moment. God. In This Moment reveal sent to us. A lot of times you were available. Got you there in the first place.

So God is, is opening up your eyes and he's leading you to his alter. He's leading you to repent. Even up that since he, he he even helping you to or deliver. From certain addictions that have U trap. In that hole in that place. He just saying how I don't know how to shake free of this but God here he is. He saves you. He revives you, he causes you to go into deeper worship. I remember the first time to where I will be sitting in church, and I'll be seeing people. Singing. Unashamedly that the time. I wouldn't seem like that. I was saying, I would say cutely. Everyone singing their hearts out and I'll be singing your soft and, you know, clap your little salt being too cool to raise my hands, things like that, you know? And I'll be looking. I say I wonder what it is. How is it? That they can feel so free to sing and be this way even in a church setting, right? This is after I get my life to Christ. You acting like rice already. I want to live like Jesus but when I came in the chart, I was even cool. I'm just I'm not I'm not doing all of that. You know, if I'm in the back, you know I want about it. Looking at me, right? So still focus on, you know, that type of thing. But God had to reveal to me. And even show me that was even. That's even a moment of Revival in my life that God was able to demonstrate to me and help me to understand it. Just relationship. This relationship that I had never had before, we got even in that. Like why God brought me to life in this area to wear? Now you already know, I don't care if I'm in the front, the back beside the top of the vital matter where I'm at, I'll be praising God, and it doesn't matter who, or you know who's looking, or whatever the case might be, just taking me into this deeper worship. The deeper fellowship with him now. with that being said, dad, even even that Revelation could have just been a moment. This moment were things, made sense, this moment where, you know, the scales begin the fall-off in and got to speak and say, this is why this with this is why that you okay, God, I want to respond to what it is you're showing me in this moment of Revival, but the point is something must follow the Revival in order that the new life is transform.

Stopped and got the follow, the Revival. Because if if if nothing follows the Revival, then the new life is going to begin to look like the old life.

And that's facts. If something doesn't follow the new life that were ready and eager to celebrate, will begin to look more like the old life that we were trying to get away from him before long. There is no, distinguishment between the two and so you're like the sheet who gets pulled from the whole begins to run and then jump right back into the hole. And when you jump back into the whole, how many y'all know that you go deeper in it then before you got out in the first place?

So it's imperative. We need Revival. But we need transformation, we need Revival that transforms. Now, with that being said them, where does that transformation begin? Well, our mind is the Collision point, where the word of God. Our flesh or our carnal nature, our carnal desires and Satan's influence, all Collide. You got these? Three things, the right here. Again, it's our mine. That's where the word of God, that you've been reading that you were studying at. You've been hearing, you've been hearing all these perspectives that don't quite line up with what the world was telling you before, right? So you got the word of God's perspective, God's perspective. You have your flesh, you got your own desires, your carnal nature, or that's in nature. You have all of that going on with yourself and then you have Satan's influence and Satan's influence. Doesn't look like Satan. Come in and whispering to you. Y'all do realize that it is not omnipresent like God is.

Satan's influence. Don't look like Satan, coming to you to whisper to you. Satan's influence. Looks like the culture that he influences. The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 2 that he is the prince of the power of the air. Who's doing what right now, at work in the sons of Disobedience. So saying influence is what influences out the very culture we live in right now is under the influence of Satan himself. and so if you're if you're not paying attention to that then even as a Believer, you'll be doing things that actually don't please God but they're pleasing to say Because it's up under his influence and we seek Alice, honestly, we don't got time. Maybe I could go to deeper into that that that satanic influence within the culture because we even see those types of examples in the Bible. And it confuses people.

I'll give you an example that I move on.

Did not go to the fair today. So I'll give you an example that will move on if you think about the situation with like, with an Abraham, for example, Or Solomon.

How many concubines?

Watch this. Now here's the tricky question but with God

He was, but the point is what the police, what I'm saying? So how was it that he could have had all these wives and concubines? And yet at the same time, be a man of God. If that's what I'm talkin about satanic influence in the Earth.

Which provokes the culture. Go ahead already given the prescription and description of how a marriage looks where he give that at in the Garden. Eden. Adam Eve, 11. Man comes along and perverts or Satan comes along and temps man perverts to. We're all of a sudden. Wyman, King I can have x y and z.

Now that was obvious we can look at that when I say yep that's wrong. That's a good example. But how many things do we do every day that we do? Simply because it's something that cost you says we ought to do.

So, before we start putting Solomon down, we got the first look at our own self. I own life.

And say what type of influence have Ivan influence with. But the point is, is that again, our mind is where that influence in our flesh and the word of God, they all Collide right here, And, you know, it's the only the strong Will Survive. It's a battle ground and whichever one you feed. Whichever one you bow down to that's the one that is going to Triumph in your inner being and so long as your mind is made up that you will live to please your own fleshly carnal urges. It don't much matter. What the word of God says, You'll find yourself agreeing with what your flesh that is. Or if you make up your mind, you going to do with the way the culture. Say do it, then you. In Sulphur. But we're going to talk about this transformation because I want I not only want us all to be revived. God wants us all to be transformed. So we're going to jump into the scripture so we can we can go through this. I promise you will be done. Light will be done. I can hold you too long. Is chapter 4 starting at verse 17. This is going to be our I would help for today. This scripture says, now, this I say and testify in the Lord That you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do in the Futurity of their minds. All right? This is good. God is telling us as his people, I do not want for you to walk as the Gentiles do. Or those who have no relationship with me. I don't want you to walk as they do. By the way, this passage is written to people who have been revived. This passage is written to save, folks. This is Pastor has written the people who are born again by the spirit of God, okay? He said, I don't want you to walk in the way that those who have not been born of God, I don't want I want you to live like that in what way does that look? He doesn't Begin by talking about the actions they commit. He begins to talk about the way they think. He says in the futility of their minds now to have futile thinking means to have completely useless thinking that you thought thinking completely useless or completely ineffective in obtaining the desired result, if you are thinking in a futile way, you can be thinking I want to create for myself a life of Peace. But because you're thinking is futile, all you do is pull down and destroyed that same very life that very same life. Because you got futile thinking, you got thinking that will not lead you to the result that you're looking for. If you say, I want a pair relationships in my life that are broken but you got futile thinking going on, you're going to further destroyed the relationship and it's not going to lie through those relationships, becoming any better. You know, it's a lot of futile thinking that's going on, you know you look at like divorce rates and stuff like that. I can guarantee us a lot of futile thinking going on in these marriages, why do people get killed in divorce? Cuz I can tell you right now.

I doubt it's mini, I'm sure there are some out there in the world somewhere, but I doubt this many marriages in the world that haven't had a fight. They haven't had a disagreement, but not a fight. I'm just a disagreement of some sort. What is futile thinking at turn the disagreement into TNT and blow the whole thing up?

It is turn it to just, you know, a nuclear warhead and blow, not just blow them, are they built the whole family? But what futile thinking, you got issues on the job and you got to go talk to the supervisor Bluff Utah. Thinking lead you from having a talk with your supervisor to be looking on indeed for new job. Now, you got to have indeed. Because you got some futile thinking going on. it doesn't lead It, Whatever the desire is, you not going to make it with you time thinking, but this is the type of thinking that we Everybody in here has some futile thinking going on and what they were, and we still have areas in our minds and our hearts, we still got some futile thinking is well, but we need God to shine his light and illuminate, those things. So we can get right. What is the word transformation is all about? So so we don't know who he says, I don't want you walking like these Gentiles do in the future ility of their mind. He says that they are darkened in their understanding and as their dark, understand it, they are alienated them from the life of God. Why? Because of the ignorance that is in them? It is due to their Hardness of Heart. Now, if you got dark in understanding you got some stupefied blind understanding. That's what this word means. We use this word in in the Greek, in the original word that it was written. M, what part was saying is you got some, you got to stupefy understanding You are literally blind, the brothers, who wrote the whole bunch of, you know? Today we got a whole lot of times. I feel like they talking to me is the word of God, man. Got Talkin at all of us. You talkin all of us, but if you feel like it's personal to God, trying to get a guy trying to get in your business and review of something to you. So if you feel like, I feel like you talkin to me, I'm not. I'm just saying what he told me to say, okay, but if you got dark and understanding again, what does dark and understand what is that flow from? That futile thinking this darkened understanding stupefy blind understanding, and obviously, that is a very ignorant place to live because you just don't know what you don't know, but because you got that dark and understanding you're not even putting your

Oon on went on. What day was at Thursday on Thursday, myself and passed. The bar. We went with the city on a hill, when they go to their events as we went out with them. So I'm a young guy ended up talking to him and he his words to me, was plasma. I said, you believe in God and he said, I don't believe in the god. You believe in. So am I question was why you know what God, I believe in. You know I use making assumptions but come to find out. We did not believe the same God

Play, he believed that all, we're all gods and he believed delete me on August 1st of. But long story short, he wasn't even open to hear the truth. Why? Because he was darkened in his understanding It's a shame to be so dark in the understanding that when the light come you don't even want to turn it on you want. No parts of it and it's a great many people who live their life, just like that. But we can't. We cannot afford to remain in ignorance because if we remain ignorant, we also remain alienated from God. We remain separated from God. And so if you're looking to be transformed in your mind, you can't be transformed at the same time, alienated Okay. So Leslie as the scripture indicates here, due to their Hardness of Heart, it's all tied to this desire in the heart that truly. And this is a great many people. They have all these reasons why they don't believe this and why didn't believe that. But truly what it is, it's there still a desire to live in the Senate. They live in. If you want to get down to the nitty-gritty, truly, there is a desire to continue living in a particular type of sin. And Consciously or even subconsciously, they know that if I turn to God, I cannot live this way. And so instead of turning to God and being blessed, I want to continue living, according to my own pastures in my own lusts, I'll stay doing this. I might dress it up and make it sound good. There's some very intelligent people who have some very intelligent sounding arguments towards God but the heart of what it is is going on is they just like their sin and they want to continue living in that. In that particular verse 19, say, I become callous, and this is what happens. You, stay in that same for so long. You begin. You begin to get callus. You know, I live in case I live way too much anymore, but in the past when I was still very much more active, I started to get these calluses on my hand. Why? Because that bar was constantly rubbing on my skin. And so, what the body does is it's begin to you get that layer of skin, that just builds up bills up, bills, bills up to protect your, your hand, your flesh from from from ripping and tearing. You get these calluses what that's what's happened in the heart. After you remain as your scent. So long all of a sudden we're used to be convicting. We're used to make you say this doesn't feel right? Or this isn't good. All of a sudden, I don't got any of those things. My mind to say this isn't good. This is a right suddenly. I can continue and see him without even having any conviction about it because I become calloused. 3 says they have become callous and have given themselves up to see any green to practice, every kind of impurity. And that's what the callous heart looks like sensuality, you live to please, your flesh. And whatever the flesh desires. And that's not limited to sexual sin. That's that's all types of sending whatever your flesh desire. That's what you want to do. It's a lot of people in this world who may not necessarily have an issue with sexual thing but they just like the violence. I'm going to cuss somebody out. You know, we often don't look at that type of stuff in the same from the same. You for the same vantage point and whatnot, that's the lust of the flesh as well. I want to see someone being or destroyed, either physically or mentally or emotionally. I want to tear this person down. That's equally a lust of the flesh as well just in a different type of way. But we give ourselves over to the sensuality as we become careless and we start practicing all these different things that God says we are not to do. But here goes the kicker. All of that was kind of tough but if you go to the kicker inverse number 20, he says but that is not the way you learned Christ.

unfortunately, we live in a time now, where you got all types of different Jesus being priest out here, But there is only one Jesus who sings. There is only one Messiah who says, and it's the Messiah that the Bible reveals that the word of God reveals, you're not going to learn from me. You're not going to learn about the Jesus who bends to your will. You said you want something? So Jesus is going to see to it that it happens. It's cuz you said you wanted it. That's not the Jesus that the word of God reveals to us. You know, we're not going to serve the Jesus. You know who prefers, you know, one person over the next person. Who loves you more? Cuz your wider, who loves you more, cuz you're black, or loves you more. Cuz you from this country, that country of you practice this, a practice that that's not the Jesus.

The Jesus, we worship loves each and everyone of us. Why? Cuz he made the song, where all we are all created by

And that's the Jesus that we serve, not just, you know, got preferences and and and, and and and we'll been to tell you me, being willing and, you know, all these different type of things out here today, it's crazy. I know what I'm talking about. But there is this one, Jesus who is able to save and he's the one who is revealed in scripture that says, that's not the way you learned Christ. Assuming that you have heard about him and we're talk to him as the truth is in Jesus. Jesus said about himself, the truth is what you need in the truth will set you free. And the truth is found only in him. The truth that will cause your mind to literally be transformed is only found in him and not elsewhere. So as we're revived as we connect our self with that truth and continue to pursue that truth here, lies where we begin to be transformed for Step One is Jesus. You, you can't get to the transformation part without step. Number one is Jesus. He's the one who revives you and brings you back to life and you must believe that he is the messiah. You got to believe that. You got to believe that he is the one who is sent to save you from your sins. He is the one who will provide you new life. And he is the only one who can do it. My wife was just talking about dating in Sunday School. The harder you try to do it on your own, you going to be just like that sheet who jumped back in the hole. So long as you trying to work it out and do it on your own. You'll be just like that sheep who was pulled out the hole and turned around and jump back into the hole. It is Jesus. He is the big and he's the beginning of it and he's the ending of another words. He's all of it. So we have to do our best in the focus ourselves on Jesus. He goes on to say 22 to put off your old self which belongs to your former manner of life and its corrupted, deceitful desires. That's the old life that we're getting away from and to be what renewed in the spirit of your mind. That's the goal to be renewed in the spirit of your mind. This is where transformation occurs in our minds. In the only way that happens now, watch this. Just I'll just connect back to what we were talking about Tuesday night. That ask seek and knock. When you begin to truly seek Jesus.

The Bible already says seek ye first, the kingdom of righteousness and all these things will be added unto you when you truly begin to see Jesus and how, you know, number one in his word. If you don't spend time with Gees, I've been I say the same stuff but I was saying But there's literally nothing new to say. It's the same story.

If you don't spend time and in your word, if you don't open, your Bible up except for Sunday and maybe a Wednesday night, I promise you, you are you going to find it difficult to be transformed by that same? Very word.

if you, if you only ate food, Sunday and Wednesday, you would be malnourished. You wouldn't have all the different nutrients and things you need in order to live and survive. But why do we do that to our spirit? Why do we do that to our mine? like I said, the mind is that Collision point where the word of God in your flesh and the influence of Satan collide

You're always being fair, Satan's influence. I can guarantee you even though it's Sunday before the sun goes down, you have been influenced by Satan in one way of the next. You are always going to be influenced by the urges that your flesh has. Always it will not stop cuz Out of Body Experience, right? We can't outer body experience a whole life. You going to be in your flesh, which means your place is going to be constantly urging you, and it ain't and give you different desires that you have to combat against. So, those two things are always constant. They're always constant. The word of God unless you open that Bible and read it. You're not getting it in. So, the only way to get it is to actually do it. You must study to show yourself approved. That's what the word says, You must study the word of God. If God will have any effect in how your mind works. I can't, I can't stress that enough. A lot of times folks, stay well, I haven't read the Bible much but I pray everyday. I've read the Bible much, but I'll listen to praise and worship music. Great. I'm happy about that. But those two things, end of themselves will not transform your mind.

Date, they simply want. Is great to listen to praise and worship. Music is amazing to pray and I hope that each and every one of us to have a healthy and in great prayer lives But I'm telling you right now.

If you pray without studying the word of God, how do you know that you praying in line with God's will in the first place?

So you just saying a bunch of stuff and you going through the motions, but Those prayers like power because those prayers like conviction because those prayers like Direction.

If you don't have direction to how you going to have conviction about what it is, you're actually praying about in the first place. That is the easy way for your prayers to become. Very self-centered and very self-seeking,

But when you were studying the word of God now, God becomes the one who begins to help lead you in prayer as you pray back to him. so the the transforming of one's mind, is directly connected to your

And you're seeking him specifically in his word. You got to be hearing his word. And you hear is word, obviously, by hearing a priest like this. But also by what you read, and what you study on your own, amen transformation. Is a mine led by the spirit of God. This is transformation. A mind that is led by the spirit of God. Romans 8:6, says the carnal mind is death. What does spiritually live? Mine is life in this piece. It is transformation. The mind that is led by the spirit of God.

But you will, you will find it difficult to have that relationship with God in that guidance from God, apart from his word. The two go hand-in-hand the O'Leary and I've always shared this, the old lyric. I heard a long time ago was to be led by the spirit is to be led by the word. So be fed when you hear it for the red or it's her. if you're hearing the work cuz you hear the word when you read the word, I don't know if you can read and not hear what you reading. Good luck with that one. I don't know how you do it. I don't know how to work this, right? Have no invoice, whatever. Anyways, if you're reading something I hope you hear something when you reading it. You know. Whether you got read the words that you're using Braille, if you blind got you some bread but you still reading it. You able to hear the word, then you're able to take that word in and make it part of your thought process. You're able then to meditate on the word because you'll get much more from the word of God. After you read it and you spend time with it and you meditate on what it is. You actually just read when you begin to think about the words that you were reading and how it corresponds to your life today. Hallelujah transformation is led by the spirit of God and as your mind goes, your body will follow. We're not thinking about you, nobody Transformations, all these type of things, I mean, that's good for health and things like that. But we want our spirit to be transformed because when my spirit is transformed with my mind is transform, my body is going to follow my mind. Okay, the last verse of your first 24 it says put on the new self created after the likeness of God and true righteousness and Holiness. Amen. Listen we all have a choice to make and I think this scripture put it in such a great way, there is a decision that we have to make that we have to say, God I want to be new and I'm going to make a decision to be new. Now, I myself don't make myself new but I have to make up myself that I actually desire to be new Good until my desire. See where my heart is. That's where my mama is going to follow. If my if my heart is is is confused. My mind going to be confused. If my heart, you know, once you know

See what you want to do tonight. In my heart. I want some chicken wings. That's in my heart but I know I probably need that salad. What if my heart is set on some chicken wings? More than likely. Tell me some chicken wings and some green stuff to write. Yeah, went where your heart is. That's what your minds going. Cuz that's the worst. It was hard as this for your treasure will be also. so to put on the new self, we're told to put on the new stuff by Paul here, we got to make up in our mind. I want to put on this new self. What does that look like God? Well it looks like the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Where in the scripture says in Genesis that God created us in his likeness and in His image. I think this is really beautiful in in Poetic because what the scripture is indicating here is is when your transformed in your mind, right? You're born again, your transfer, Born Again, transformed in your mind. You begin to look like God originally made you. In his likeness. a lot of times we equate, the likeness of God to human things, And we do that a lot of times I think, maybe because it makes you feel more comfortable with that, that this the thought process, His Image his likeness and we say, all were all human beings are heard, you know, we like to be social and data to die and you know, we got them druggies, correlations like that. You know what, I'm not going to come against that type of thought process, but the light is a good. We just talked about the likeness of God, we got to go a little deeper than this. Some superficial types of stuff. That is Holy. That is righteous. This is how God desires for us to look to be, holy to be righteous, to be people who are doing good work, that he has predestined for us, Ephesians 2:10. That's the way to God, desires for us to look. And that is the lightness, that God does, are supposed to have. Let me say something. When you begin to share in lightness with God at this level, now you're in a place of peace. Now, you're in a place of comfort, you know, let me use a musical term. Now you in the pocket, drummers Now you playing in the pocket, you're in The Sweet Spot. You know, when you think about music, you think about the music, the musicians playing. Even if you're not a musician when they went, when they start hitting the wrong or stop playing the wrong beat, even if you're not a position, you start looking around like what what's going on Alright. Right? When you start getting into God's Pocket, when you start to live your life in this particular way, holy why? Because God says, I want you to be holding, I'm holding, this is my likeness. I want you to be set apart. For me to do, what good works. The his glory. And that's how we get we live our life with the sense of fulfillment. Many of us we don't live life with a sense of fulfillment. Many of us live life liking that sense of purpose but it's because we're not in God's Pocket. So in order to get in God's Pocket, here it is. Right here. We need a Revival that transforms. I need my mind to line up with what my mouth is saying. We just saying the songs, you know what, that's what worshiping God and where, you know, I give myself away and he's a wonderful time at the thing. Great. But we got the lineup. With what God is saying to us, how we are to live our life. Alright, so that's what we need. We need a Revival that transforms through and through. And again, that's how we live life and have a sense of fulfillment of purpose because we live in a way, God says that we should and so long as we do this, I believe, as long as we do this, then the transformation that we're looking for that whatever Desiring in our life, the sense of fulfillment, that sense of purpose, identity, all that may, God has all of that. God provides all of that. The things that were seeking from God. We obtained from God. But we got to do it the way he says to do. What a man, a man give God some places where today a mail Email. We need that transfer.
