The concept of victory is often associated with strength, power, and dominance.
However, true victory can only be achieved through surrender to God.

The Paradox of Victory in Surrender
A paradox is a statement or idea that seems contradictory
For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
This verse seems contradictory at first glance because it suggests that one must give up their life in order to find it
True fulfillment and purpose are found when one completely surrenders their life to God, even if it involves sacrifice.
Another paradox is “I am my own man”
You will surrender to something
Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
If you don’t surrender to God, by default your surrender yourself to Satan.
What occurs in the physical realm is a result of the war in the spiritual realm
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Satan constantly wars against God
Everything God’s made, Satan seeks to counterfeit
Everything God has built, Satan wants to tear down
Everything that Gas has, Satan tries to steal
This is evident in the “WOKE” world of today
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Jesus' surrender to the Father's plan brought victory over sin and death.
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Jesus, who was holy, righteous, and perfectly sinless, became sin for me and you.
God’s perfect justice is satisfied through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, offering forgiveness and redemption to all who obey the Gospel.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

To surrender to God's word means:
Fully submit oneself to the authority, wisdom, and guidance found in the Scriptures.

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.
It is said that pride is the handle to the door that Satan turns to enter into the heart of man
CONCLUSION
Even though it sounds contradictory there is victory in surrender
Christ is the perfect example of this on the Cross
As He surrendered to God’s plan we must also surrender God’s plan for us - as written in scripture
