Now let's turn to Acts chapter 2 just like we started last week and talking about Acts 2:42 communities Acts 2:42 communities last week. So we started talking about Community, what the Christian Community should look like. What life in the Christian Community, I should be a lot of time would make it a lot of things that it is not or we emphasize things that are not necessarily the many things. Have you ever heard the saying that says, keep the main thing, the men thing and that's why companies have mission statements and they have mission statements to keep them to focus on the goals of the company. So that we know at any point, this is where we are going. While the company may do a lot of things K, but they have to keep the men. Mission front-and-center and for Christian Community. This is the mission there. This is the mission. This is what tells us what life in the Christian Community should look like, what life in the Christian Community needs to be in order for it to really be a Christian Community. And then Acts 2:42, we have the words that simply says end day. That means the Believers the devoted themselves to the apostles teaching in the fellowship to the breaking of bread and the Raiders, why don't you say it with me? And they voted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship to the breaking of bread and the prayers. The last week we looked at the apostles teaching and the fellowship. So we see the word devoted their means that they are committed and we live in a culture where we lack commitment to one another. It's easier to break a commitment, then to keep one. And we even get to the point in our culture, where we don't like making commitments, we just like 10, just keep going and see what happens. We don't want to make commitment, but a Christian Community is based on what On commitments. So once you become a Christian you have to be committed. Not only to God with your vertical Fellowship, your vertical relationship but you also have a commitment to who To one another. So the Christian the life in the Christian Community starts with commitment. So and and if you are a Christian, you have to be committed to other believers. Not just Believers in the local assembly but Believers from all over the place and I've traveled and meet a fellow Believers and the conversations that we have often. I just so rich and then you feel like you've known the person for the longest because why we are going the same direction because our final destination is heaven, And we all have a common salvation. We have a common savior, who is Jesus Christ. We have a common mission to make disciples to share the gospel with as many people that God will bring into our life. So the Christian Life Life in the Christian Community starts with commitment and even if you're Christian you think that I don't want to make any Commitment. If you are safe, you committed to God. Now you got to be committed to one another whether you want it or not, whether you like it or not, you have to be in community. God doesn't just work flu individuals alone but God wants all of us to get together. Is he even Jesus didn't work alone. What did Jesus do the Families? First Act?

Call disciples. Jesus did not work alone. Jesus Born Into the life of the 12, where they committed to one another Jesus poured into them, and then Jesus lunch them out to do ministry. So, the Christian Life is a committed life. It is not on alone life. There are no Lone Ranger's K in the Christian Life. You need Partners even Paul. When Paul did all his missionary Journeys. Did he go alone? He had a Silas with him, he had Timothy with him, he had some of that. He went with Luke, The Physician. We were the Book of Luke in the book of Acts. He's been with a bath for dieter's, it's just Coors. When you saw a p door was going out in the book of Acts and healing people, was he alone? He had other, he had John Merrick's, is Peter, and John as they were going together. So the Christian Life Is Not A Lone Ranger life. That is a life committed to fellow Believers. Were you go together and live the Christian life? Cuz the song we are prone to wonder, remember Psalm 23, we are sheeps. And in the Bible says, in the book of Isaiah, all we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned to our own ways but the lord has laid on him. The iniquity of us all as Christians. We are prone to wonder effect of like cold burning. If you have just one piece of cold burning, what's going to happen to it? It will go out. So as a Believer, if you trying to live the Christian Life, all by yourself, You're going to run out of steam, you will not be able to do it and that's why when you get cold burning you tried to put them as close as possible so that they do what they keep burning K, they catching the Fire from each other and is the same for the Christian Life. As Believers, we need each other to keep each other warm and to keep each other burning. And that's why it says the Believers after they receive Christ, they the first thing they did is that they devoted themselves to one another and it starts with the apostles teaching. So the apostles teaching, Which is the word of God which is the word of God. Because if you don't have the right foundation, as we're talking this morning and life group, if you don't have the right foundation and anything, what will happen It will crumble. What do you think? Like, in when the building houses? This meant so much time in the foundation.

It's because they want that house to stay put for a while. And I remember my neighbor was telling me, you know, about the house where we live in right now. It was a house where they move from one place to where it is now to our house. But the neighbor was telling me man in this house, you don't have to worry about it for a while because the owner the person who build that house, he spent so much time in the foundation and he said, he went so deep down into that Foundation. He said, you don't have to worry about that house. You know, you got a good house that was good to hear. Because I know that it was billed correctly, but that's what the word of God does the word of God. It builds the foundation for everything else, that will go into that relationship. It's the basis for that relationship. And that's why I said, the message in a nutshell from last week, is that it is essential for believers for us to prioritize building offensive christian community. So that we focus on what's really important and essential oils. As you started directly from the text, the first one is the apostles teaching which is the word of God. There's no substitute for the word of God. None at all. We have no choice but to go with the word olives. 138 verse 2. It says I bow down to would your Holy Temple and give thanks to your name for your what steadfast love and your faithfulness. For you have at this. Look at this on the line that's in your Bible for you have been what, exalted above all things, your what your name, and There you have it you see the word is the foundation to at all. If we don't have the right foundation with the word, the Christian Community cannot really be built. It will be built like on on hay or wood but not really a solid foundation. The rock of Christ on the solid rock that we spent. That's why the life in the Christian Community starts with what Oh, come on. It starts weird. The words. The word is the foundation to life in the Christian Community. So let's try again. So what is the foundations of the Christian Community? The word of God, see if our relationship is not based on the word of God and we are not both committed to it at some point, it's going to be broken. Somebody's going to want out but if we both committed to scripture, that it was not anything else that brought us here, but it was the word of God because we want to obey that we want to know if we want to live it out man. It makes for a beautiful relationship, but if we just look at scripture as a suggestion, then it will not work. Because today we live in a time where Believers not just people in the world, believe that we did very little regard to the word of God. Are the word of God, the Bible is treated more like a suggestion. Look as opposed to being the very word of God and it is to be obeyed. And I think that's why our struggle is today. We don't have a high view of the word of God. Instead we have a very low view of scripture and once we do that, we cannot really profit from the word of God. That's what second member 1st Timothy 2nd, Timothy 3 16 through 17, which we looked at last time, it says all scripture is breathed out that means is the very word of God breathed out by God and is profitable think of a business business are in existence to make a Prophets, no profit, no business K. God is saying you are in a profitable business. He says that when you take scripture seriously, you owe bad. God says it will only be profitable to you. It's profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction. That means when you're going the wrong way, God is going to say that this way. Okay, not this way, it will give you warning and for training in righteousness. It will train you in doing what is right? That the men or the woman of God is a quip for some work. Every good work Bible teaching. Today is seeing more as the word of the pastor or the preacher as opposed to the very word of God, as the pastor of the preacher, I'm just the messenger. Okay, don't shoot the messenger. When I say something to challenge, you don't shoot the messenger. I'm just reading the word of God to you and you guys, I just blessed because I studied engineering. So that means I'm a very slow reader because they teach us to slow down and it's because I'm not a great reader. That's why I'm qualified to teach you that because I'm, that Gregor either is because what you read, only one time very quickly, I read it five times because I make sure that I get it and I make sure I look at every single word and I slow down. Every time I say, I read think that's the qualification. Think I'm just the messenger when I just said to you, you didn't see it bother. You just went too fast. Get if you started going slower with your Bible reading before, you know it you'll be standing right up here also and then just teaching the word of God, we need to go slowly with the word of God. What does it say? Say where's mean every word of God? Proves false. Oh you're awake every word of God. Proves true. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him safe. 1st Thessalonians, that's what I've been praying for our church. And we also thank God constantly for this. That when you receive the word of God, which you heard from us? You accepted it as the word of man. But as what it really is what is it? The word of God which is at work and you believe her. So the bottom line is the Believers committed to God's word. So when we hear God's word Proclaim Straight from the text, we need to take it for what it is. The very word of the preacher. Thank you. So the bottom line is when you hear God's word Brooklyn straight from the text, take it for what it really is, the very word of God. You got a second, the second thing in the Christian Life. The second the next essential is fellowship. Fellowship means a life together life together. Okay. Just socializing but fellowshipping, Where We Living member, what the bassist was. Scripture the word of God. So, if you met with a fellow believer, you had no discussion about the Bible. Did you Fellowship? Come on, you know, the answer. Did you Fellowship? You just did what socialize. Okay. If you meet with a fellow believer, there was no discussion of scripture. That was no mention of scripture. You did not Fellowship. You were just socializing just like the world. Specialized just like you go to a bar and you just have a side conversation with the person next to you. We got it. Are you shooting the messenger now? Are you receiving it in silence? Amen, to Fellowship means we have something in common. Our coming salvation is cards for our fellowship. You see, two fella on the same ship. So we going the same direction this morning. We talked about Unity so you can have Unity another to have True Fellowship live together. Remember it's not that casual conversation has to be intimate and it has to be real. We all carrying problems, we all have problems but we've learned to just kind of like internalized them and then just talk about everything that's not important. but the things that are really important, we don't talk about, we'll talk about the football game, or we're not going to miss the football game for anyting, but when the going really gets all the football, players going to come and pay your rent for you, are they going to come and go to your family's funeral?

Easy. That's why the Christian Life Fellowship is so important cuz there's a little people you want to be there for you and do you even care that the football player would come to. You don't even know them.

You see, we wanted to start with God and focus on God. She want to have that vertical relationship with God and that Arisen till relationship with each other, will be Auto. Automatic see many Christians walk a lonely, path member. I shared with you last time including many church leaders and those who are suffering. We've been trained in our culture that when I have a problem at keep it to myself and I isolate myself from everybody else, but the Christian Life in the kitchen, like there's no isolation if you're looking to live the Christian Life and we want to be isolated, that's not what we're looking for. We're looking for assets, self-centered, or cultural type of relationship, but it's not in the creation. Look fake, can we have a relationship with ourselves? You need to be in a relationship with others. So, there are no Lone Ranger in the Christian life. So if we want privacy,

The Christian life is not for you. And all of us are used to our privacy. I need my privacy. I'm going to close my door and parents. Let the kids do that. Oh, she needs her privacy. Or let her. Let her know that let her alone. She needs to go in her room. The house that I pay but do be coming out.

Oh, y'all think I'm signing crazy now. So that's the time like when they're shooting the messenger. Now there's no privacy. Like in the house, getting a family relationship. We are together. We in this together and we're losing so many kids today because we're giving them so much privacy, and then we're thinking that it's even punishment, but it's not punishment, they get their phone then, connect it to everybody else in the world, but except the people in the house where they growing up.

In the Christian Life, there is no privacy. K in the Christian Life. It's a life together. It's a life of intimate relationship, so you not staying away and isolating ourselves. Look at what is 18. One size, whatever isolates himself does, what? You read it for yourself ever isolates himself, seeks his own desire, doesn't matter what excuse that we use, whether we say, though, I'm an introvert. What are we say? Whatever we want to say, just to isolate ourselves. We can do it again scripture and I'm sorry if I open anybody, but the word of God is offensive. I didn't write this text and I'm not smart enough to read the Bible. It says, whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire. It's the Bible that says it's just like you just being selfish and then you just it's a cultural thing that you getting to yourself. But it's not from the Bible, don't just do they just need some time to look at what it says, when your isolate yourself, he breaks out again. Some sound judgment. Sound judgments when you are alone, you depressed, you all by yourself. Things are not going for you or things are not going the way that you wanted to do all kinds of crazy Todd's. Coming to your mind, doesn't it? We all have been through it and that's why we make mistakes. We just make the wrong decisions. We we do some stupid stuff because we just isolating ourselves and the truth of the matter, a lot of them will isolate ourselves just because we don't want to hear the truth. A lot of them were isolated ourselves just because we know if I asked so and so they're going to tell me the truth and then I'm not going to be able to do what I want to do and as a result we isolate ourselves but in the end in the Christian Life that's not the way it goes. We cannot isolate ourselves. We need to live in community in the Christian Life. There is no other way. If you want to be in isolation, the Christian life is not for you. Because the Bible says in John 13:34, a new commandment. I give to you that you do what? Love one another. As I said we can't love each other and isolation. You have to love one another just as I have loved you That's the part that gets me to just love you, and I'll be with you. But Jesus says, we need to love one another. Just like, Jesus has loved us. What did Jesus do for us? So, that means god is calling us to self sacrifice.

Forgot to say a when you're in a relationship with me as a fellow believer, I need to sell sacrifice for you. Let me know. Tell me. Oh, we can't meet today. You're not got this this basketball game at 8 to watch. I think I got this football game. Like, you being selfish, you don't even want to sacrifice the football game while Jesus sacrifice his life for you. You know, this goes on for all other stuff. Again, if you cannot be there for a fellow believer because of you know something that you do I have this thing's going on. You see how many times I comes in the conversation. I have to do this, I have to do this. I have to do that. That's not the Christian Life, if you always have to use the word, I, I, I, I

That's not the Christian Life. I'm sorry if I'm too blunt scriptures, very blunt and look at Mehmet, I give to you that you love one. Another just odd, not just the way I want to love you, but the way that God has love you, you also are to love one. Another. Some 122 says, I am. What I am glad when they said to me to do what? to the house of the Lord, is that your experience where you go out when you were coming here this morning, where you go at If that's not your experience, I'm coming with people. Lord, I don't want to be with those people. Either you in the wrong church or you have the wrong attitude inside of you. So either one you got to fix it. If it's a wrong attitude with you fix it. Okay, if it's the wrong Church, find another one, that's plenty of churches. Cake. But you need to be glad when you coming to the house of God, you need to be gliding saying, man. I can't wait to see someone so I can't wait to see someone. So when I come in, but if it's like its 10 and I don't want to see someone

But it says, I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord and I will not be working for me. I'm just going to go somewhere else. Okay? Because, you know, I need to find joy. You need to have joy. When you come here, I want you to have joy. That's like, I can't wait to be with one another as we just wasting time coming. Like, you know, we we coming and walking on eggshells with each other. We're just wasting time. Going to grow, and I'm not going to be happy. I'm not going to grow because you make it tense relationship, but I want to go that we have freedom. We can enjoy one, another love, one, another. Be there for one, another care, for one another, and just have fun. Okay. For Christians to have fun. There's nothing wrong for Christians, to have some good fellowship and having some great fun to look at the text, it says, starting in verse 14, chapter 2, and give many other words, he bore witness and continue to exhort them saying, save yourselves from this crooked generation. That's Peter. So those will receive his word word did. What baptized? That means? They are committed. Say, hey, I'm saved now getting to be baptized the receipt, that that's kind of like, that's your commitment to the fellowship. Okay. Commitment to God. But also commitment. Today, I'm in, I'm all in baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand soles, and they devoted themselves to the apostles, teaching the fellowship to the breaking of bread and prayers. And Came up on every sort of thing when Christians are acting like Christians supposed to act. People look on it this. Wow.

The world wants it. The world want to secretions really live like Christians. Do you see that they don't attack other religion but somehow when it Christian doesn't behave, what do they say? And they say they are Christian.

Never heard that statement. Do you hear them saying that about him too and they threw their Hindu? I've never heard of it and they said they're billed as I've never heard of it. But does that say, for Christian, And they say the Christian. The world knows how Christians are supposed to behave and they're expecting you to behave as such and when you're doing the world, can already read it and know that you are a fake.

This is all came up on every soul and Many Wonders and signs were being done. Flew the Apostle. See that was a powerful church and all who believed were together. You see the work together. Anybody was in isolation. Anybody was in isolation. And all will believe were together and I had all things in common. They had to let up persecution at that time, and that was a matter of survival. They had everything, putting everything in the trust to help meet the needs of one another in America today, probably, that's not what that will look like. Cuz we're leaving one of the most prosperous country in the world, but probably the way that will play out today is that we don't let anybody stay to themselves. That we are there for them to make sure that they are in community. That, that means that we are there for them. When they having an emotional breakdown, whenever people are facing, like you do mental health, that we are there for them to see that. We did, we helping them that? We are there for one another and they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all as Amy had what? Here here today, that's not our biggest problem, okay? Most of us can get a job and work on less than we are ill. It will happen for us here. That's not our biggest need. That's what they had at the time, and that's what they did to support one another. If we, if we just do, you know, selling all our stuff to help when at it, which is going to create a culture of laziness today, because the job is available, but those people were going under great persecution and then the houses were being burned down the church. Rise up to what the need was right now, our biggest problem in our culture is its isolation, its devices that I just I thinking our minds away that I just put in a barrier. We have relationship. We need to be there for one another. In other ways. And if one of us have Financial name, the church, we need to be there for one another as well. But here in our time it's more like a temporary thing that will happen. Even them. It was temporary, as you finished reading the book of act. You said that people were getting their stuff back as things change and it says, day-by-day attending the temple together and doing what breaking bread in their homes and they received their food, how we're glad and generous Hearts you like eating with people and people are not happy.

You just waiting for that meal to be over as quickly as possible, right? I'm just being honest with you, you know, like when we have all those family gatherings, you know, family, reunions, and then you let somebody in there that you really don't want to sit with. Come on, come on. Shame. The devil tell the truth.

You know, it happens when hearing think that's where Christians got to love one another. So that when we eating we're eating our food with glad and Generous Heart. We really enjoying the food but also enjoying each other. Praising God for the worship and having favor with all people and the Lord added to their number day-by-day, those who were being safe, things that was going on there. They were getting maturity, see, they were baptized when they receive Christ, they, they became a baptized believer. They were committed to the group. They were in the, we're helping one another, and then you see membership, they were belonging to one another. They were really being part. There was no Lone Ranger as the people, they just like Perpetual visitors. Like in the church than ever become a member sitting there on that. We see those people. There were members of one another. Just like, we read in Romans, chapter 12. Do a members of one another because we each have different gifts and God wants to use all our gifts, eat magnification member praising God, they were praising God, but a Ministry meeting, each other's needs right now. Just wanted to text and then lastly, Mission. See you say 3000 people were added to the church. How did that happen? Obviously was not just the preacher who preached a great message. Somebody had to bring those people there, right? So because people were bringing one another's will not win. The message was preached because you were already talking to the people. You brought to church. And now when the preacher just preach a message, you just sealed the deal. And now they became Believers. You see how the three thousands were added to the church you following with me. See, God does not. Call us just to believe that he also wants us to belong to belong to the community of Believers are really. The bottom line about Fellowship is that nobody is an island and we all need Community. We cannot love in isolation. Amen. Now breaking bread, breaking bread. Breaking bread means that we are celebrating one. Another, do you invite people? You don't like out to lunch. Do you know anybody here? Thank you, only one. Honestly, believe you're simply okay. When do you invited people out over to your house or you inviting somebody over to let you want to spend time with them? Am I right? Because you want to spend time with them, are we being like being very hospitable? Even if you are being hospitable, if you didn't really, really feel it. Will you invite again? What are the first of the gang to the assembly? A mission from God? Okay. That you feel like I need to reach out to this person but typically we want to hang out with people that we enjoy. We breaking bread together because we want to celebrate that person. I want to be with you an invitation to lunch. Is that I want to spend time with you, okay, I'm invitation to eat. Together, is an invitation that I like you, but here when it says, breaking bread together, it has to come to Tatian the first one talking about the Lord's table. The Lord's Supper communion Racine look, 22 verse 19 years and he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them saying, this is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me talking about breaking bread, So it's one of two think it's both exactly where you are. Breaking bread at to commemorate the Lord be coming to communion table but also literally just eating with one. Another verse 46 of chapter 2. It says and they bite they are tending the temple together and doing what Breaking bread in their homes. They receive their food with glad and generous Hearts. So they were eating together. See, I'm still waiting for an invitation to your house, okay. That was self-serving self still here saying at the Lord's table that that's, that's communion, we celebrate our communion with Christ. And when we share a meal together, we share our communion with one another. See eating together is a big deal and if you talk to many cultures, that's if if somebody invite you to the house, you don't go. That's, that's a serious business right there. Like you got to go. You got invited. That's like the biggest insult, you know, you would do? That person, you know if they invite you and and then you do not go, you know, the way that some of our cultures are but in in several other cultures that is a big deal and as Believers, we need to make it a big deal also that we are eating together. We are sharing meals together and enjoy one another because we care for one another. So the bottom line about breaking bread is that breaking bread. Together is more than a meal, but on occasion, for what intimate Fellowship Community Building. So remember, when you eating that meal, you going to talk about scripture, right? Right.

Of course, you talk about all of it, but if there was no scripture talk then was that Fellowship. It was just socializing and hanging out. So that's why I now the meal is an opportunity to get intimate with one. Another remember I invited because I want to spend time with you, I want to get to know you better, I need to enjoy your presence, but we need to do what? Because we have a common salvation, we need to rejoice in God. We also always need to take it back to the vertical, okay? We doing the horizontal eating together but the girl really is that we both want to be more like Christ because the goal of the Christian is to become fully devoted followers of Christ I'm not saying the entire conversation is just about the Bible, as we enjoying each other, it will come out naturally if both of us are trying to become more like Christ. So, last one, dependents, the prayers. You see, they were devoted to the apostles, teaching the fellowship, breaking of bread and prayers in plural. It says, the prayers, I see prayer shows, our dependence on God. Why do we pray? Because I can do it on my own. Prayer shows, our dependence on God and the the, the, the, the early believers, they show their dependence on God and they were caring for one. Another when I pray for somebody, what am I doing? I care for that person. So I am caring for one another, since the Traders, see her stocking mobile corporate prayer is not only, we need to pray for each other individual in our personal prayer time, but we also need to pray together. We need to pray together. Jesus is our prime example in this. Jesus usually begins his day early with prayer, and also did the psalmist. Let's look at Mark, 1:35 read it with me and Rising. In the morning while it was still dark. He departed and went out to a desolate place and there he did. What?

That's from Jesus meme, Jesus, The Living Word of God needed to depend on prayer. Why do you think you can just live life or 5 depending on prayer?

Like, we're stronger than Jesus.

You cannot live the Christian Life without prayer. Jesus, you know who Jesus is?

The very Son of God. The God man in the flesh. Rosa when early in the morning. When it was still dark, you departed and went out to a desolate place and they're what did he do? You pray So that tells me if you come late to church because you're not praying, huh? Cuz you got to wake him early in the morning.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Jesus is our model. That's what we need to Father. We need to tell me that it is too early. Okay. Jesus rose up early in the morning and that's why I love the Bible. It gives you all the details while it was still dark. So early was not my early but since we're still dark. That means worth at least 6 in the morning.

Is 10:00 too early. I don't think so. Okay, let's keep going. I might get a restaurant at me and Selma 1987, what does the sound B says I Rise before done? Is it still. That's earlier than 10:30 right before done and cry for help, I hoping you're all seriousness. Now, the reason we don't pray often is that we don't realize our dependence on God and we don't realize how dependent that we are on prayer and an often. We think that we can make it on our own and we cannot on the lot of us. The reason why we fold in the things that we face in life, and we feel like we cannot handle it. We feel like we're running like a chicken with our head cut off. It just because we are not in prayer because there's a saying that says a, when you kneel before God, you can stand before Kings because nothing will stumble, you, nothing will be too much for you because you went to the source first and when you go to the stores for as you are really in prayer, there is nothing that you will not be able to overcome in this world. Absolutely nothing. And a lot of us are being defeated today because of the sheer fact that we are not in prayer because we are not dependent on God and God said if you depend on me you stay in prayer. There is nothing that will be impossible to you what the Bible says. Nothing will be able will beat will be beyond what you can do. If you stay in prayer, there is power in prayer. Jesus was able to do all that. He did, even though he was caught in the flash because of before, Jesus did anything big, Jesus went to prayer. See, Jesus to pray. You're seriously the song Mister prayer. Seriously, why do you think we need to do as well? We need to take prayer seriously. Is he a Christian Fellowship lives and Exist by the intercession of its members for one another that was Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Dietrich Bonhoeffer Was killed by the Germans because he was a pastor and he was put in prison. He just long for that Fellowship that Christian Community, but he was in prison and really deeply miss being with fellow Believers. And then he was saying and one of the thing it says, you never realize what you have until it's taken away from you. If you like Billy was, we can take each other for granted until you hear that. Oh, it was they died last night. And then you realize, you know how much that Jose actually meant to you or somebody else from. You know, I don't want to jinx it for any of you because none of you want to die.

But isn't it? True you don't appreciate the person that you do. Do need to appreciate until they are no longer in your life when they no longer in your life, then that's when you realize. Oh man, I really messed up. But they treat one offer when he was thrown in jail. He realized. Oh man I just miss the fellowship. I just miss being with my fellow Believers. That's why he wrote the book of life together, where does the book all of you should read? And that's why he says that a Christian Fellowship lives and Exist by the intersection by the prayer of its member. For one another. Every week I tried to pray for every single one of you by name that are on the list of our church. And that's what you need to do, is believe her. You need to be praying for one. Another, just look around right now. And then pick a couple of people and pray for them guard. Look around. Look around. Look, around Mark some faces right now. And then this week, I want you to pray for one another. And why don't you go ahead and take 30 seconds right now? Pick one of those persons you just looked at and pray for them right now.

Thank you, Father, for all the prayers that I've been praying, and I pray, father, that you will answer every single one of them. In Jesus name. Amen. James 5:16 says, therefore not done yet another and pray for one another that you may be healed the prayer of multiple people The prayer of. A righteous person has great power as it is working. So don't undermine the power of prayer. If you walking with God, righteous person, that means a person that's walking with God that walking in obedience, your prayer has power that you will not. You cannot even fathom. Okay, so be in prayer, be it living in confession, confess your sins to one another pray for one another. And God says, when we pray for when I know what's going to happen, we going to be here. That means our problems will be self. That means whatever we facing, we will overcome them and it says the prayer of a righteous person. I've great far. So when was the last time you specifically prayed for a fellow believer, aunt, 30 seconds ago, I believe in Christ and consistently pray, which includes praise praise as a form of prayer, both privately and together for one another. So we need to pray privately for one another and we need to pray together. When we come to church together we need to pray for one another. See that's exactly the kind of community that we strive to be real here at Bible Fellowship at our church. That's the kind of community that I would love to see all of us that we all aspire to that we all dream to that. We are a church that is committed to scripture that we are a church was committed to Fellowship, committed to doing life together. To Breaking Bread together where we celebrate one another and where we are at church, that is committed to prayer. That's why I hear. Don't focus on giving you any opinions. I just text you the word of God as it is, the word of God is the standard for a living and that's why we here we try to teach the word of God book by book and verse by verse so that you will become a quip. So you can teach one another because God called all of us to be teachers because it says go therefore and make Disciples of all Nations. Baptizing them to obey all that I have commanded, you face teaching them to obey all that. I have commanded, you Fellowship, we want to do life together. That's why we have Wednesday nights see where we eat together and then we do life together and I always encourage you invite somebody to lunch and you pay for it, right? K. So this week, three challenge. So invite somebody out this week and who pays for it, you don't wait for an invite, not, so the person can pay. Okay, so you make Uninvited somebody, invite. You you invite somebody else. Okay. Are we committed to that this week? I committed to that this week. I always say I don't hear all the answers. Even visitors to write Cleveland that's our city. Okay, we need to make a difference in our city cuz it says we strive to make a positive impact in our community and throughout the world. Isn't that what Jeremiah 29:7 says? But seek the welfare of what I love the city. So where are you? Are you need to do good in your city where I have sent you into Exile and pray to the Lord on its behalf for his behalf. You will find what your welfare. So God is saying a when you take care of the city where you live and you pray for the city where you live. There's going to be good for you. So we need to pray for us to use the message and then I tell Believers need to make a conscious choice and effort to pursue authentic. Christian Community as indicated in Acts 2:42, we got it. We need to make a conscious choice and effort to pursue a fantastic Christian Fellowship, 42 together. Why don't you and our time together? And let us say Acts 2:42 together, you ready? It says, and they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Father, may you help each one of us to do just that to go out and living the admission that you have for us, that you help us look guy to live out as the church is supposed to live as the Christian Community supposed to live and may you help us Lord God to be committed to your word to be committed to one another to Fellowship to be committed to doing life together and Celebrating one another. We're breaking bread. Together that we be committed to prayers. We love you. And we praise you. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen. Go out and live the Christian Life. Love one, another.
