Aknowledge Israel attack
God is a God of process, protocol and Order.
For the past few weeks we have been talking about “First Things First”, the purpose of it is because God has created protocols and process to help us.
We see this in the way our bodies are designed, by the way the Earth is created, the universe, there is a specific manner to which things are done a divine order to it.
One of the greatest protocols is his presence, one of these ways is found in the construction of the Tabernacle,
God is seeking worship, he rescued you from the clutches of Darkness not just to bring to you heaven, but so you could worship Him.
This must always be our first response to Him....Worship
Even this week as I was praying for all of us, I was strongly impressed, that God wants us to build a house of worship, a place where his tangible presence dwells and manifests healing and hope reign. So much freedom where someone would say “This is who I am created to be and where I am created live. In His Presence.
People who don’t even know God, know Jesus recognize that His presence is here and it is what fulfills

The Tabernacle

Last week we talked about the Duties of a Priest, and they were the only ones allowed into the
Holy Place
The Lamp stand that we discussed last week, it is the Holy Spirits primary job to help us relate to God more effectively.
Yes I know he is power, and spiritual gifts, but in our own relationship His spirit should be helping us connect and relate deeper to God

The Holy Place

Everything in the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies was manufactured out of pure Gold, meaning it was transparent. Yet gold in a pure form is moldable and playable. It is not our strength God is so pleased with, but it is our weaknesses, it our weaknesses we can be made strong.
Authentic is what can be found in a life that is in pursuit of Holiness
Gold is valuable, it is not what is cheap, cheap has mixtures, it has not gone through a refining process.
Specifics and details were given for everything

The Table of Presence

This was a table that consisted of 12 flat loves or cakes of bread for the priests. Why 12-possibly representing each tribe of Isreal.
This bread was to be replaced every week upon the Sabbath, and only to be eaten by the Priests
The table of presence or table of the Face (Unger’s Bible Dictionary) maybe because it was to remind the priests, of soul care.
John 6:33-34
John 6:33–35 NLT
33 The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 “Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.” 35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

-Nutrients, capability to sustain our souls and physical bodies

The Altar of Incense

Exodus 30:7–10 NLT
7 “Every morning when Aaron maintains the lamps, he must burn fragrant incense on the altar. 8 And each evening when he lights the lamps, he must again burn incense in the Lord’s presence. This must be done from generation to generation. 9 Do not offer any unholy incense on this altar, or any burnt offerings, grain offerings, or liquid offerings. 10 “Once a year Aaron must purify the altar by smearing its horns with blood from the offering made to purify the people from their sin. This will be a regular, annual event from generation to generation, for this is the Lord’s most holy altar.”
The Lexham Bible Dictionary (The Religious Use of Incense)
I which was located directly in front of the curtain separating the holy place from the holy of holies where the ark of the covenant was located. Exodus indicates that the Israelites burned incense on this altar twice daily—once in the morning and again at sundown (Exod 30:7–8).
In addition, the sacred incense played a special role in the rituals associated with the Day of Atonement. On that day, the high priest would take a shovel full of coals from off the altar, cover it with two handfuls of “aromatic incense” and take it into the holy of holies, where its smoke was to cover the mercy seat (Lev 16:12–13). Thus, the smoke from the incense provided a protective screen between the priest and God’s holiness (compare Lev 10:1–2; 16:1).
What does that mean in our New Testament Context?
Revelation 8:4 NLT
4 The smoke of the incense, mixed with the prayers of God’s holy people, ascended up to God from the altar where the angel had poured them out.
Jesus atoned for our Sin, This is why the viel is torn for you and I to have access. You and I have privilege

Ark of the Covenant

When the Ark is finished, place inside it the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, which I will give to you.

17 “Then make the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—from pure gold. It must be 45 inches long and 27 inches wide.

18 Then make two cherubim from hammered gold, and place them on the two ends of the atonement cover.

19 Mold the cherubim on each end of the atonement cover, making it all of one piece of gold.

20 The cherubim will face each other and look down on the atonement cover. With their wings spread above it, they will protect it.

21 Place inside the Ark the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, which I will give to you. Then put the atonement cover on top of the Ark.

22 I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the atonement cover between the gold cherubim that hover over the Ark of the Covenant. From there I will give you my commands for the people of Israel.

The Lexham Bible Dictionary (Construction of the Ark)
Construction of the Ark. According to Exodus 25, 35, and 37, the ark was made of acacia wood and overlaid with gold. There were also rings connected to the chest where carrying poles could be inserted. The cover was called the mercy seat. The mercy seat was a solid piece of gold with two affixed cherubim. The ark was instructed to be two and a half cubits (approximately 3.75 feet) long, one and a half cubits (2.25 feet) wide, and one and a half cubits tall. While no weight is listed in the Bible, the ark has been estimated to weigh as much as 288 pounds
Three things were in the ark, but above it sat the Cherubim, and the Mercy Seat
We need to recognize we all Mercy
For our past and that makes God worthy
For our present, because His Holiness is so amazing
For our Future because we must understand that is His mercy that allows us to enter in.

We see this in the way our bodies are designed, by the way the Earth is created, the universe, there is a specific manner to which things are done a divine order to it.

The Law-The Two tables of stone with the Law. 613 Laws specifically outlined, the 10 commandments are summary of these laws, how to relate to God, how to relate to each other
A Saucer of Manna-Mann was supernatural provision,
Aarons staff-the Authority of God that comes on something that is ordinary
The Law-The 10 Commandments, not the 613 laws prescribed to Moses
God prescribes his expectations of how to conduct our lives with him and with others.
A Saucer of Manna-Coming into the Holy of Holes is not about natural, but supernatural, provision, resources, and all you need to sustain you. Supernatural is not for us, it is sustain us, and give us reflection that God will always provide. He needs you to trust
Aarons Staff-Represents the authority of God. It is what split the red sea, ate snakes, turned the nile into blood.
All it was, was a stick. The ordinary, stop trying to prove something, be something, when God has created you to be his, in His hand you will be supernatural.
Lets Go into that Holy of Holies,
Ask the Band to come back up for a time of worship.
The focal point of Isreal coming out of Egypt was Worship
The focal point of the Tabernacle was the Ark of the covenant
It is where the cloud and fire hovered over. Will our lives be open to housing the presence of God?
Can He hover over our lives?
As we recognize it is only His Mercy,
His word written on our hearts, His supernatural provision
His authority on a simply unspectacular stick
