What is Anagnosis?

Anagnosis is reading something out loud, usually publically.
Anagnosis is different from preaching or teaching.

Acts 13:15 CSB
After the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, you can speak.”
Teaching means helping people to understand.
Preaching means calling people to action.
Anagnosis means letting the scripture speak for itself (though it can be combined with preaching)
Anagnosis is a key spiritual discipline of God’s people.
