What do I believe God wants us to know? God is loyally faithful
Why? We need a rock to stand on
What do I believe God wants us to do? Stand on the rock
Why? It brings us hope

One of the things we learn early on as a child is that FOUNDATIONS are important. They matter supremely.
Where do we often discover this first as a child?
When you are building with building blocks or Legos
What we come to discover it doesn’t matter what is going on upstairs if the downstairs, the foundation is not propperly fit to handle upstaris
Upstairs could be 10 floors with amazing furniture and features
But if the FOUNDATION is off or not strong enough it comes a tumbling down.
We know this in the real world with real houses
If you build your house upon a wetland, pond, sand what will happen to the house?
It will collaspe
Or what will happen if the foundation is not poured corretly, let’s skip some steps and rush to get the job down...
You not only have a BROKE FOUNDATION, you have a BROKE HOUSE
Your house cannot stand if you have a broke foundation
INTRO
The question for us today is not about our physical house but your SPIRITUAL HOUSE
What are you resting your HOUSE UPON?
What is the thing HOLDING YOUR SPIRITUAL HOUSE UP?
What are you giving your FAITH, YOUR LOYAL ALLEGENICE TO?
This is question Jesus ends the Sermon on the Mount with. Jesus gives this long over 20 point sermon and then at the end says
What I said will not matter if you don’t move your HOUSE UPON HIM...
It will do you great damage if your FAITH pistis…your believing loyality does not move to HIM
HOW SO
WHAT so GREAT
TRUTHFUL
TURNS THINGS AROUND
TOOK YOUR SINS TO CROSS
How do we know if our confidence and faith has moved off of the Lord?
Anxiety
Worry
Communion
When we were faithless He remained faithful
