2 Timothy 3:16–17 CSB
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Hebrews 4:12 CSB
For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
What good does it do us if we read, listen, study, meditate, memorize, and pray in line with scripture if we do not wield it?
Ephesians 6:17 CSB
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit—which is the word of God.
If we are to be mature believers we must wield the sword of the Spirit.
We must share the truth of the Word of God with each other.
Hebrews 10:24–25 CSB
And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.
We must share the Truth of the Word of God generationally.
Psalm 71:14–18 CSB
But I will hope continually and will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell about your righteousness and your salvation all day long, though I cannot sum them up. I come because of the mighty acts of the Lord God; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone. God, you have taught me from my youth, and I still proclaim your wondrous works. Even while I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, while I proclaim your power to another generation, your strength to all who are to come.
We must share the Truth of the Word of God with unbelievers.
Colossians 1:27–28 CSB
God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
We must remember to wield the Word of God with love.
Does anyone like banana bread? Is anyone hungry?
Deuteronomy 8:3 CSB
He humbled you by letting you go hungry; then he gave you manna to eat, which you and your ancestors had not known, so that you might learn that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
Matthew 28:18–20 CSB
Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Who do you need to love enough to share the Truth of the Word of God with?
Will you share with others what God is teaching you?
Can you imagine?
Will you say yes to Jesus today?
Romans 5:8 CSB
But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:13 CSB
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
