- "I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the Gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ" (Galatians 1:11-12).
Jesus came to Paul. Jesus called Paul. Neither salvation nor service came from Paul's own initiative. Before the Lord came to him, he was Saul of Tarsus. Through the grace of God, he became Paul the Apostle. This was the Lord's doing. To Him be all the glory!
