1 John 5:18 (KJV 1900)

18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

A lot of people out there are talking and fearing more about demonic possession yes it is true there is a lot to be afraid of! We ought to take unto ourselves the full armour of God to be totally prepared!

Yet there are some that want to say that even some Christians have demon possession! Because of sickness, lack of funds, problems in their lives. At a brush arbour that I preached at just the day before I was faced with someone trying to cast demons out of a few one of which was me!

I can truly say now and then that I do not nor have I ever been possessed by any demon. The person doing the “casting” was a little on the nutty side.

Satan is “on the loose” as another minster put it and the times in which we live are evil yet remember the words in 1 john 5 18 that wicked one toucheth him not!

Satan cannot can never posses someone born of God! As long as “keepeth himself” that is from sin!

John 14:30 (KJV 1900)

30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

yes Satan can enter a Judas Iscariot, or Ananias or Sapphira  who allowed satan to come into their lives.

Matthew 12:29 (KJV 1900)

29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

1.      It is blasphemy to say satan can cast Christ out!

Luke 11:17 (KJV 1900)

17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

2.      The only way for satan to enter a person who knows Jesus is if he casts off his first faith.

1 Timothy 5:12 (KJV 1900)

12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

1 Timothy 5:15 (KJV 1900)

15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.

3.      We as Christians are warned of satans ways but Jesus told the differences between sickness and devices

Matthew 4:24 (KJV 1900)

24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

4.        God promises protections!

Psalm 121 (KJV 1900)

A Song of degrees. 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth, and even for evermore. 5-7

5.       Satan can only enter an empty vessel

Luke 11:24–26 (KJV 1900)

24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. 25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. 26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
