1st Samuel Chapter 15
Saul's Disobedience.
Pray for wisdom, as I pray for wisdom as I write this message.
Please read the whole of Chapter 15 of 1st Samuel in your Bible
Saul was a very significant individual in the history of our people,
(The true Israelite's) not these so called Jews.
See Revelation 2:9 and 3:9
Not because this man was a good man, but because he was the first King.
The first in a long line, some good, some very good, some very bad.
It
would be most misguided to suggest that Saul was dreadful through and
through.
Saul started off well, however it was one act of disobedience that
sent Saul on a rapid downward spiral from which he never able to recover.
This
was due to the Lord rejecting him see 1st Samuel 15:26 The purpose of this
message is to highlight that act and in hope that whoever reads this message
will take this as an en sample of what happens when we choose
disobedience.
Lets get into the Message.
I trust you have read Chapter 15
The Lord God, set Saul a task to utterly destroy Amalek.
Everything had to
go, man, woman, child, infant, sheep, ox and donkeys, the whole nine yards.
We should not be surprised to read this or shocked for that matter as God
had previously declared war on Amalek from generation to generation,
see Exodus 17:16
God, must have a real special hatred for Amalek and he explains why in
1st Samuel 15:2 Side note: don't get shocked to hear about God's hatred
it is evident in the Bible.
The reason why God sent Saul is because Amalek
laid in wait for Israel in the way.
THOSE DIRTY BASTARDS OF AMALEK,
SET A TRAP FOR OUR PEOPLE LEAVING EGYPT.
Saul did not do as the Lord commanded him.
He spared the life of the King
of Amalek which was Agag.
Moreover Saul kept all the goodly sheep and oxen
and lambs.
God was furious in short utterly rejected Saul from being King.
This resulted in the rise of David, and Saul's jealousy increased and he received
evil Spirit's, as mentioned earlier Saul rapidly went down hill in terms of his
behavior and sort and attempted to kill David.
His rebellion separated him from
God from that moment on.
What Saul did was so typical of us isn't it?
God
could tell us to turn right and we would want to turn left.
Everything we have
done, over the years and state of our lands right now, is evident of our
rebellion against the Lord our God.
The Lord our God is not protecting us this
day he is against us because we will not behave.
Passing evil laws, protecting
Aliens and cursing their own.
Look at this.
“Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which
keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his
commandments to a thousand generations;
And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will
not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and statutes, and the
judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.”
Deuteronomy 7:9-11 KJV 1611
That Commandment has not changed.
God has not changed, his word has not
changed.
Our lands are defiled because we have whored after other gods.
The Church has whored after other gods, the new god is money.
Let Saul's
calamitous fall from grace be a warning to us as a Nation and to you the reader
as an individual.
We have to get back to the fundamental representational
principles of what God requires of us.
What will it take for our people to
turn back to the Lord God?
We are worthy of death, yet God has promised
not to destroy our seed.
I implore you, as believers to turn back to your God.
Seek not false doctrines of lies smooth talk.
Don't wait till God has rejected
thee as he did with Saul.
“Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to
walk in his ways, and to fear him.”
