In his book, We Are All Weird, Seth Godin writes, “RICH is my word for someone who can afford to make choices, who has enough resources to do more than merely survive. You don’t need a private plane to be rich, but you do need enough time and food and health and access to be able to interact with the market for stuff and for ideas.”

Defining Rich as having choices is insightful. If being rich means you have choices, then being truly wealthy means you make the right choices.
Luke 14:28-30 (CEV) “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. What is the first thing you will do? Won't you sit down and figure out how much it will cost and if you have enough money to pay for it? (29) Otherwise, you will start building the tower, but not be able to finish. Then everyone who sees what is happening will laugh at you. (30) They will say, "You started building, but could not finish the job."
