Lord, we look at ourselves
- and we say, "This is my life. This is the way I've always been. I'll never change. I'll never be any different."
Is this all that we can say about ourselves?
Is this what You're saying about us?
We're always thinking about what we are.
You're always saying to us, "This is what you can become. This is what I am going to make you."
Help us to listen to what You're saying to us.
Help us to make a new "beginning" with You - as we believe and receive "the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God" (Mark 1:1).
