Outline:
Faith is the access
We come by faith
Faith is belief that God is who He says he is
The women at the well heard and by faith came
Faith is the journey
We walk by faith- because faith in the reality by which we live and we approve ourselves
We do acts of Faith
The call of Faith
The call of Faith
simply is to believe-
Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
This is the goal the prize of our faith- is to see Jesus
He is the prize the treasure we obtain because we answered the call to Believe in faith and receive salvation
One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
The call of Faith is to put your trust and your Hope in God
You hear about God then faith gets you to the feet of Jesus-
The women with the blood Issue- If I just touch him- everything Changes-
Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
It isn’t minimizing the situations that are unfolding around us, but it is elevating God to His true position as the one who sits on the throne;
Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth take their stand,
and the rulers conspire together
against the Lord and his Anointed One:
“Let’s tear off their chains
and throw their ropes off of us.”
The one enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord ridicules them.
Th nations rage, the fight, the conspire for power.
Yet God is on the throne and He laughs
The life of Faith
The life of Faith
When we answer the call of faith, we in turn live the life of Faith-
Faith is taking God at His word-
How else do you overcome the impossible?
Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. For by this our ancestors were approved.
Approved- they are witness of the life by Faith
Faith is reality by which we live-
we walk by faith
we speak by faith
the Word strengthens our faith because it gives witness
The acts of Faith
The acts of Faith
WE walk by Faith- We see things differently cause We walk in the reality of Who God is.
He isn’t some made up fictional character- He is the Lord almighty the maker of heaven and earth!
When we believe in Faith we begin to live by faith
God is who he says He is
