Longsuffering Father

Romans 11:25–27 CSB
I don’t want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you will not be conceited: A partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.
the fullness of the Gentiles?
Israel will be saved!
This is the physical Israel.
not all jewish people.
Revelation 11:1–6 CSB
Then I was given a measuring reed like a rod, with these words: “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count those who worship there. But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Don’t measure it, because it is given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and consumes their enemies; if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way. They have authority to close up the sky so that it does not rain during the days of their prophecy. They also have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every plague whenever they want.
They will be martyred
They will be resurrected
Matthew 23:37–39 CSB
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her. How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’!”
WOE to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
“Snakes! Brood of vipers! How can you escape being condemned to hell?”
Romans 11:28–29 CSB
Regarding the gospel, they are enemies for your advantage, but regarding election, they are loved because of the patriarchs, since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.
Are they enemies?
Because of the patriarchs
irrevocable (GOD doesn’t break promises)
GOD not going to give up on you either.
Romans 11:30–32 CSB
As you once disobeyed God but now have received mercy through their disobedience, so they too have now disobeyed, resulting in mercy to you, so that they also may now receive mercy. For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may have mercy on all.
We all need Mercy because of disobedience.
Romans 11:33–36 CSB
Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments and untraceable his ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? And who has ever given to God, that he should be repaid? For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.
HOW GREAT IS GOD THE FATHER!!!!
Unsearchable, Untraceable
Who has been HIS counselor? LOL
To HIM be the glory forever. Amen.
GOD had a plan for you!
GOD hasn’t given up on Israel and HE hasn’t given up on you!
