26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
It is time to continue the conversation! Billy Graham started a conversation, “Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior”, Now it’s time to continue that conversation, Have you recieved the Holy Ghost since you have believed?
Acts 19:2 “2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.”

Comforter in the greek is “parakletos” as Counselor, Comforter, and Advocate.
The gift of the Holy Spirit is not a dictator or controller. The spirit will never overtake the believer's free will. Despite the truth of God’s sovereignty, man has the freedom to choose and is held responsible for those choices.
The bible teaches us in 1 Thessalonians 5:19 to“Quench not the Spirit.” How do we quench the spirit? By doing the opposite of what the spirit wants! It’s as simple as that!
Why would we quench the Spirit when He was sent to encourage, guide, and help us, to enlighten and enable, reveal, and instill what we need to do the will of God. He didn’t come to do the work for us, but to empower us to do the works of Christ.

“7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”
The Holy Spirit desires to manifest the will and power of God in our lives. He desires to move in us and through us more than we desire to receive God’s grace and gifts.
As Incredible as it may sound, the Spirit is working 24 hours a day to assist us to accomplish God’s will in our lives. The bible teaches us in Romans 8:19 “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” The working of the Spirit in your life secures you as a son or a daughter of God! Lets look back at what happened in Genesis Chapter 6.
The sons of God had children with the daughters of men. Their offspring was altered DNA that changed their behavior and actions to that that is against God. Whats happening today?
Through Stem research DNA is being altered. I even heard that China can clone living beings.
Jesus said that in the day that he returns, it would be as days of Noah were! Violence or “Hamas” over the whole earth. Folks, we are living in those times!
We read in Acts 17:28 “28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” The spirit changes our DNA! We were created in His Likeness and thats where God desires for us to return to. Not to conform to this world but to be renewed by the power of the Holy Ghost! As sons and Daughters of God,
We live by the Spirit!
We move by the Spirit!
We are who we are through the Spirit!
Let Him Change you today!

“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)”
Strong Holds
What are strong holds? Strongholds are the philosophies, reasonings, and schemes of the world. Anything proud, man-centered, and self-confident. Worldly things that exalt themselves above all that is God.
Through the Spirit our weapons are mighty!
The major weapons of warfare for the church are the blood of Jesus Christ, The power in His Name, and the Word of God.
His Blood is our shield! The devil can not cross the blood line!
His Name is our Armor! Jesus alone is the full armor of God!
. His word is our sword! The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword!
We must put on the whole armor of God! Ephesians 6:11
We have our own battles and there are people all around us battling the powers of darkness. The baptism of the Spirit through faith applies the whole armor of God to stand in this evil day! Through the Power of the Spirit we can crush the enemy in Victory every time!
1 O clap your hands, all ye people; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

John 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
vision — 1. vision, in the ecstatic state; (א)גּי ˊח valley of vision. 2. vision, in the night. 3. divine communication in a vision, oracle, prophecy.
προφητεύω (prophēteuō). verb. to prophesy. The act of revealing something that is hidden, disclosing the will of God, or foretelling the future.
1 Corinthians 14:3“But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.”
Spirit vision brings supernatural revelation. The bible teaches us in Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” The word “Vision” in Hebrew means Revelation.
Let me say it like this, where there is no revelation, the people parish! The spirit brings the revelation of Jesus and his word as well as revelation of hidden things and things to come.
We also read in the bible in 1 Corinthians 2:13–14“Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
Discernment and vision go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other. If we are being lead of the spirit he opens our eyes to the truth of God!
Discernment-The sound judgment which makes possible the distinguishing of good from evil, and the recognition of God’s right ways for his people.
It is impossible for you to have true discernment without the Holy Spirit. Thats why we live in a world where the power of darkness has taken over the lives of of those around us. V. The Prophetic
In Ezekiel 12:22–23 We read
“Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.” The “effect” or as translated in the LSB, Fulfillment of every vision.
I believe that the days have come were prophetic vision will increase! Our eyes will be opened fully in the spirit to the spiritual realm! Are you ready? God is getting ready to pour out His spirit on all flesh in these last days!
Spirit vision couples with the hope of our faith to bring knowledge of spiritual things. Why is this important? We read in Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” To be spiritually minded is to be in tune with the spirit to discern what is true and what is false. I don’t know about you but I want to follow truth! Have you ever met anyone that wanted to follow a lie or something totally false?
Spirit vision reveals things that are hidden. There are people walking around you every day that has things in their life that no body knows about. Things that are hidden. Through the power of the spirit we are able to bring to light the things which are hidden in the darkness. When the strongholds of the enemy are brought to light, then the enemy can be defeated in the lives of our loved ones. This is the power of spirit vision!

Ephesians 3:16 “16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;”
Our inner man is where the Holy spirit dwells. The bible teaches us in 1 Corinthians 6:19“ What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” Have you ever heard the phrase “garbage in garbage out”? We need to sleep, breath and live in the Holy Spirit! He is our strength!
My friends you are not your own. You were bought with a price! Jesus paid that price for you! Shouldn’t we return to God and honor His sacrifice?
Romans 1:11 says this“For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established;” God desires for you to be established. To be established is to unmovable in the spirit! The world is in bad shape and we need an unmovable standing and that standing can only come through the Holy Ghost!
Today is the day! We all need to be strengthened in our inner man! strengthened in the Holy Ghost! If we are to help those around us we must be lead by the spirit of God who is God! Look around, the church is weak! But, there is hope! There is the hope of the word of God! Whatever the word says, it is truth! What ever blessing in the spirit the word says we can have, we can have! It is needful for all in this day!
CON: How many of you are willing to let the Spirit be a help to you today? What do you need help with? Are you going through something thats unbearable? Jesus can make a difference in your mind, emotions, body. He can give you direction, clear a path or open a door! What ever it is lets go to the Lord in Prayer and let the spirit help us in a time of need. The bible says in:
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
