I am starting a series on how we have fallen into slavery, given over to slavery by God in the hope that we may return to him. If you are serious about reading this series of messages, before you begin to read the message I would like you to take time to read the book of Judges. There is an ongoing trend with our people. Time after time after time again, we remove God from the throne and begin to serve other god’s. In each occasion God delivers us into the hands of the spoilers henceforth into slavery. God is a patient and merciful and forgiving God. This was not done at the drop of a hat, but decade’s even centuries of rebellion on our part. The third part of this series is how we are kept as slaves. How are we kept as “happy slaves?”

“Happy Slaves are the bitterest enemies of Freedom”

Marie Von Ebner-Eschenbach

This statement is very old and refers back to the original intentions of Rome to keep the slaves content and thereby satisfied in their slavery. It is commonly referred to as “Bread and Circuses” such is the title of this message. This practice is being used today by our slave masters. We have food and we have drink and cigarettes and we have our entertainment. Whether it’s within the music industry those evil children of the devil in Hollywood or simply through sports. All of this tends to dominate our conversation with our friends and loved ones. I am sure you have heard it at the office, the whole conversation circles around who has just been voted off X-Factor and around a lot of the guys who has won the football matches and the banter begins there. Other form of this so called entertainment is used to tempt us such as filthy pictures in magazines and news papers. All highly acceptable in society today, nothing seems to be too low, accept, when we get into discussion about the Bible and its laws. Then that’s it, you have crossed the line and it’s stamped out very quickly whether in the work place or social circles. In one of my previous jobs I

had put some Biblical quotes on my wall at my desk, not in anyone else’s face mind you. However I was told to remove them whilst other desks depicted pictures of almost naked woman!

We are taught and have wholly bought into the lie that the Bible is some kind of Poisonous book of slavery that whilst being good literature should not be taken seriously in anyway. Yet almost anything else is acceptable. All of these other things I have mentioned are very appealing to our flesh. Our enemies know this, they have studied us. They recognized how easy it was to pull us away from what our true object of worship should be which is Jesus Christ, to just about any idol, sports stars, celebrities, it’s to the point where they are worshipped as gods and dare you say anything against them and their legion of hysterical brain dead zombies who worship them!

We are so easily pulled away from Christ and even easier pulled away from the truth of the Gospel, check this out.

“I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” Galatians 1:6,7 KJV 1611

This brings me unto my next point, we have well established by now that discussion of Biblical matters, even those portrayed in movies with any kind of Christian emphasis, even in the slightest, is often frowned upon or at best considered a taboo subject. I have spoken to a number of people who profess to be Christians, yet for the most part when the discussion of God’s law arises they seem to view the Law as some kind millstone around the neck or slavery into sin. Where in fact the Bible describes God’s law as the perfect Law of Liberty, see James 1:25

This verse also states that those that hear and continue there in are blessed.

That does not sound like a millstone to me, so why do Christians have this attitude about the law. Well the simple answer is they are taught this by the State appointed Baal Ministers.

So with all the distractions around us, keeping our minds on anything but God. We buy into the lie that we are “free” that we can do what we like and be what we like and earn money, “so long as we pay our taxes” yet my friends, if you go out and start preaching this kind of message in the streets, if you teach against race mixing, where by 23,000 people were killed as a result, see 1st Corinthians 10:8 you can cross reference that with Numbers 25 where you will read of the man Phinehas, who was blessed for running a javelin through one of his own people who had entered into a mixed marriage with a woman of midian. (I am not encouraging you to go out and harm anyone; you cannot defeat evil by doing evil.) If you teach about being separate within our own lands as out lined in the following Scriptures. Leviticus 20:26 and the borders set within our own lands for us is Deuteronomy 32:8

If you tried any of this in the streets you would soon realize how much “freedom” you have. Yet, it seems so much easier to just sit and grow lazy and be entertained with mind numbing effect and taught to be happy slaves.

This is not the first time for our people. Let’s look at a piece of scripture where our people actually wanted to go back into bondage.

“And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be prey? Were it not better for us to return to Egypt? And they said one to another, let us make a captain, and let us return unto Egypt.”

Numbers 14:3,4 KJV 1611

Now, why would they want to go back to where there most awful bondage was? The answer is in Numbers 11:5

They enjoyed nice food in Egypt, fish, cucumber, melons and leaks. They enjoyed the bread of Egypt. Now they wanted to return. Even when the bondage was so cruel, the thought of good food and entertainment threatened to prevail over the obedience to God. Oh would to God that we would choose God. If we continue to choose the pleasures of sin, we will just descend deeper and deeper to destruction. Wake Up.
