I am starting a series on how we have fallen into slavery, given over to slavery by God in the hope that we may return to him. If you are serious about reading this series of messages, before you begin to read the message I would like you to take time to read the book of Judges. There is an ongoing trend with our people. Time after time after time again, we remove God from the throne and begin to serve other god’s. In each occasion God delivers us into the hands of the spoilers henceforth into slavery. God is a patient and merciful and forgiving God. This was not done at the drop of a hat, but decade’s even centuries of rebellion on our part. In this forth part I will be addressing one of the biggest lies spewing forth from these Baal Preachers who love Babylon. Grab your Bible and I will have you read Romans 13:1-6

This passage of Scripture is about Authority, but whose Authority is it talking about? Pastor Judas will tell you it’s your President, and their Babylonian laws, your Pastor will tell you to respect the authorities and pay your taxes and be a good citizen of Babylon. I must admit me and a friend of mine struggled over this issue for a while until I heard Pastor Peters from www.scripturesforamerica.org explain it. I will sum up what I have learnt in this message and I pray that I will explain it clearly enough and I pray I will not make any errors. This is not an easy subject for one to fully understand unless it is very well explained; this is a difficult task for me as I myself claim only to be a Student of the Bible in early years. Lets first off begin by dealing with the issue of what Authority is Romans 13 referring to? Well let me categorically state that Romans 13 does not refer to man’s law or the authority of such leader, king or otherwise.

I dare say that by suggesting that this means mans law, would turn the word of God into a lie. Let me explain, let’s look at verse 3, 4

“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” Romans 13:3, 4 KJV 1611

Ok so let me explain this to you as best as I can. There are two scenarios here, one what will happen if you do good and the second what will happen if you do badly. Now then this is talking about the law enforcer, rather accurately known as the Minister of God. If you do good don’t fear there will be no punishment for you, but do evil and be afraid, be very afraid.

So let’s line mans law up with this as juxtaposition and see if it lines up with these two verses shall we.

Ok let’s see if those doing evil today are afraid. Is the baby killer who calls himself “an abortion doctor” a legal title and occupation for baby killing, is he afraid that he is going to be punished by mans law? What about the Adulterer or the fornicator? And the Sodomite is he afraid of mans law when he insists on closing down Main Street to rub his filth in your face. How about the infidel and serial blasphemer, are any of them afraid? And by the way even those that are so called “punished under the law of man” never really face any serious punishment, is the rapist given the death penalty or child abusers treated in the same manner or murders? No they are put in prison, AT OUR EXPENSE FOR GOODNESS SAKE. SOME OF THOSE PRISONS ARE LIKE HOTELS!!!!!

Some of them don’t even get that, they are told that they are insane and therefore as a result should face no punishment. Are they afraid? I don’t think so. Now let’s look at those who do well and see if they have no need to fear?

Well let’s look at Aki Green, sent to prison for preaching against homosexuality in Sweden. Harry Hammond in England suffered the same fate. Many Preachers across America have been persecuted. So who is afraid here, who are the ones suffering, well from what I can tell it’s the ones doing good. So we have a situation here, do we not? Either the Bible is lying, or these Baal Priests are lying, hmmm which one do you think it is!!!???!!!

Well my vote is the Baal Priests are lying, what do you think?

By these two verses alone make it clear it cannot be talking about Man’s Authority. So to reinforce what I said earlier, let’s look at verse 2

“Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resiteth the ordinance of God: and they resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”

Romans 13:2 KJV 1611

There is a clue in that word damnation, no one will tell you that you’re saved by keeping the commandments, but you’re also not saved if you don’t. To wit, Jesus said “If you love me, keep my commandments”

“Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 KJV 1611

If you’re still in any doubt the Bible states that there is only one law giver.

“There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” James 4:12 KJV 1611

Let me ask you this, when the Apostles were charged to speak no more of Jesus, did they obey that man given law?

They resisted that law, so thereby according to Romans 13:2 they should receive unto themselves damnation!!!! Well of course that’s not the case because Romans 13 is referring to the law of God and Authority of God not of man. However the authority that Babylon has now over us has also been granted by God, as I mention at the beginning of each message in this series, God has sent us into slavery for our learning in the want and hope of us returning to him. But this authority of man is not the one spoken of in Romans 13

Oh we need to be praying For Godly leaders who will lead us in repentance and returning to God

There is only one way back to Liberty and that’s through God and his Laws.

“The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 1st Samuel 2:6, 7 KJV 1611
