New York Mets pitcher R. A. Dickey looks at pitching as bringing glory to God. “I view what I do on the field as an act of worship. God has given me the gifts to do what I do, and when I use them fully I glorify Him.” Dickey says that when things get tense on the mound, he starts singing a song. His favorite song to sing is “My God is an Awesome God.”
That could be the attitude of every Christian. It is what Paul was talking about when he said whatever we do, do it for God’s glory. –Jim L. Wilson and Rodger Russell
