What does perfection require? In bowling it means a score of 300, making 12 consecutive strikes. There is a higher level of perfection in bowling though, it is a perfect series, or three scores of 300 in a row. Bill Fong was on his way to that kind of perfection.
Walking to the line with his bowling ball in his hands he only had to score one more strike, his 36th in a row for real perfection. He rolled the ball, struck the pins, and they all fell down except for the ten pin. Bill came up one point short of perfection.
The New Testament tells us that no matter how high we climb, we will fall short of perfection.--Jim L. Wilson and Rodger Russell
