B“The builders’ rejection of a stone that turns out to be the cornerstone would match the way that Joseph was rejected by his brothers, then became Lord of all Egypt and delivered them. Moses, similarly, was rejected by Israel, only to be used of the Lord to deliver Israel. Along the same lines, David was not expected to become king by his father Jesse, then Saul tried to kill him, and eventually he ruled all Israel.” [1]
