INTRO:

Let me ask you a question: How would your life change if you knew you could endure every trial that came your way? That you are promised by almighty God that you’d would never be abandoned, never be left alone. That you would always be cared for. Promised that you were chosen and called by God. That there’s nothing God wouldn't for you.
Would you please stand, if your able, to give God’s greatest promise the respect it’s do
Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
PRAY!!!!
There are many wonderful life changing promises like:
Deut 31:6 “He will never leave or forsake you.”
Phil 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”
Phil 4:19 “He will meet all my needs according to His riches in glory.”
Prov 3:5-6 “That if we will acknowledge Him He will make our paths straight.
But, Romans 8:28 gives us something concrete to stand on, when we get slammed with something that we just can’t imagine suffering through.
God’s 5 Way Promise:
1. A Definite Promise “And we know”
The Greek word is Eido. It’s a primary verb used in the past sense, to be sure, like it’s already accomplished
2. Divine Promise “That God is working on our behalf.”
STIRRING THE POT “Oh taste and see that God is good”
Isaiah 65:24 “Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.”
John 5:17 “But Jesus answered them, “My Father is worketh hitherto, and I am working.”
Philippians 2:13 “for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”
3. A Definitive Promise “ALL THINGS
The Good, the bad, and the ugly, He just keeps mixing..
Genesis 50:20 “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good
So many times I’ve seen God take what we thought would kill us and turn into a powerful ministry to help others. (Brandon)
4. A Dynamic Promise “Together for good.”
The Greek word used is Sunergeo= Where we get the Synergy. Means to cooperate, to be a fellow worker.
Take salt for example, it takes 2 known poisons Sodium and Chloride, two bad things, but when mixed together they synergize into something amazing and useful.
That’s what God does too, uses negatives and turns them into positives
5. A Defined Promise “To them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.”
There are two pre conditions that have to be met. It doesn't cover everybody.
a. You must be a Christian who “Agape” loves the Lord
There are some massive benefits that come with Agape loving the Lord
Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,”
Psalm 145:20 “The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.”
1 Corinthians 8:3 “But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”
If you’re not sure if you truly love God, then this you must consider and take to prayer.
b. Those who are called
I believe that these 2 walk hand in hand. If you Love God then you are called.
When we are called, nothing is random.
Be Determined To Trust God
There is a big difference in God, and believing God!
Isaiah 46:9–11 “remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’ calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.”
God can do anything!
Don’t live in fear of what might happen to you, that's called anxiety or worry, and its the opposite of truth and faith.
Be Determined To Thank God
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Be Determined To Keep The Faith
2 Timothy 4:7–8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
Perseverance is the badge of true saints. The Christian life is not a beginning only in the ways of God, but also a continuance in the same as long as life lasts. It is with a Christian as it was with the great Napoleon: he said, “Conquest has made me what I am, and conquest must maintain me.”
Charles Spurgeon
CALL UP WORSHIP TEAM!!
IN CLOSING: Remember you are Mighty Warrior!
You are MORE than conquerors
Please carefully listen and soak into your innermost soul..
Romans 8:31–39 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus …”
AND WE ALL SAID, AMEN!
