Peace was born.

Isaiah 9:6 (NASB95)
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Many people are in this place of change.
The other side, the promise land, unknown future, a place where you may not know the way this time.
Peace is mentioned over 370 times in the bible.
Peace with you
Peace to you
Romans 15:13 (NASB95)
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 26:3 ESV
3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Trust is the subject at hand.
Every place we take over for God says we dont trust Him.
He is exposing those places.
Romans 8:6 NASB95
6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
Listening with your soul:
Mind = what makes sense
Will = what I want
Emotion = what I feel
Listening with your spirit:
Peace
Willing to yield.
Isaiah 59:8 NASB95
8 They do not know the way of peace, And there is no justice in their tracks; They have made their paths crooked, Whoever treads on them does not know peace.
What is ‘The Way of Peace’?
Is peace comfortable?
I find most times we humans look for the way with the least resistance thinking that will bring peace.
Peace is not the easy way or the way you think will be the best route.
Can peace be faked?
Peace in your spirit can not be faked. It is the one thing the devil can not imitate. False spirits can only taunt you with easy routes, or least painful routes, or avoiding conflict routes, avoiding potential rejection routes.
What do I have peace about?
What do I not have peace about?
When God is leading to a new land or new way of living and you get confused, it means you are now open to truth.
Confusion of the mind can lead to being led by your spirit to change and truth.
Right Now:
People who are doing good during this changing time are ones who are taking one step they have peace about at a time.
People who are acting like nothing is different are not at peace.
People who are looking at the big picture trying to make that happen are not at peace.
People who are trying to stop loss are not at peace.
People who are trying to fix everyone and everything are not at peace.
People who are leaning on the voice of Jesus daily and responding one step at a time are at peace.
People who are listening to what God did say are reminding themselves of those things are at peace.
People who are asking Jesus what can I do, are hearing and finding peace.
Closing:
Jesus was sent as the Prince of Peace to plant peace in us.
Jesus did not come to stop un-peacful things from happening. Instead Jesus came to implant peace into humans so His kingdom of peace would become the new reality.
When you have lost peace, look to find Jesus again and peace will come.
In all times and especially in changing times, we need to be led by peace in our spirits. Peace is the fruit in our hearts; that guides us to follow and trust God's voice in our lives.
Who really needs peace today?
Pray over those who raised their hands and help them find peace in their spirit.
Questions to help:
When was the last time you felt peace?
What did God say to you last?
When did you feel most alive?
Pay attention to the stories they share because those stories are signs of where they had peace or will have peace.
