God’s Plan, Satan’s Counterattack

A Look at Redemption

Jeremiah 29:11 CSB
For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
God Has a plan for you life!
it is a plan of redemption that leads to blessing!
God plans of Redemption is Jesus Christ
Matthew 1:21 CSB
She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
GOD’ PLAN IS TO REMOVE SIN AND RESTORE BLESSING
Deuteronomy 28:15 CSB
“But if you do not obey the Lord your God by carefully following all his commands and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overtake you:
Salvation from Sins leads to blessing from God-
Where there is no trespasses there is right relationship with God
no separation
nothing missing
When we walk in right relationship with God we are blessed
Deuteronomy 28:1–2 CSB
“Now if you faithfully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow all his commands I am giving you today, the Lord your God will put you far above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come and overtake you, because you obey the Lord your God:
God plan of redemption means we walk in Blessing, because the curse of sin has been removed from our lives
Understand that God wants blessing for us Which is why Christ would come-
The Removal of my Sin is the restoring of the Blessing in my Life
Ephesians 1:3 (CSB)
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ.
Blessing only comes through Jesus
Galatians 3:13 CSB
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written, Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse because He took upon Himself the curse
2 Corinthians 5:21 (CSB)
He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Christ died as my sin- My sin is dead on that Cross!
This is the redemption plan of God for all!

God’s Plan will Come to Pass

Isaiah 55:11 (CSB)
so my word that comes from my mouth
will not return to me empty,
but it will accomplish what I please
and will prosper in what I send it to do.
When God said He would “Crush the Head of the Serpent” It would come to pass
But like any enemy that is about to be defeated there was a counter attack-
in our lives when God is about to do something great the enemy comes and tries a counter attack to keep us:
Bound
Prisoner
Depressed
feeling like failures
Because He if He can keep us from the promise we are His prisoners
Isaiah 54:17 CSB
No weapon formed against you will succeed, and you will refute any accusation raised against you in court. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their vindication is from me.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

There are weapons being formed, but when we know the promises of God and the Word of God we know we have the victory!

Matthew 2:13–23 (CSB)
After they were gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Get up! Take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you. For Herod is about to search for the child to kill him.” So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night, and escaped to Egypt. He stayed there until Herod’s death, so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled: Out of Egypt I called my Son.
Then Herod, when he realized that he had been outwitted by the wise men, flew into a rage. He gave orders to massacre all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, in keeping with the time he had learned from the wise men. Then what was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled:
A voice was heard in Ramah,
weeping, and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children;
and she refused to be consoled,
because they are no more.
After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, “Get up, take the child and his mother, and go to the land of Israel, because those who intended to kill the child are dead.” So he got up, took the child and his mother, and entered the land of Israel. But when he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned in a dream, he withdrew to the region of Galilee. Then he went and settled in a town called Nazareth to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets, that he would be called a Nazarene.

God watches over His Word-

It will prosper!
Jeremiah 1:12 (CSB)
The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I watch over my word to accomplish it.”
An Angel of the Lord- There was no chance that an attack of the Enemy was going to stop the will of God to redeem this world!
There is no chance that an attack of the Enemy is going to stop the will of God from Redeeming this world NOW!
The Church is a victorious Church Because Jesus Has defeated the enemy

How Does the Enemy Work:

God’s uses men and women to accomplish His will-
Satan uses men and women to accomplish His Will
Matthew 2:16 (CSB)
Then Herod, when he realized that he had been outwitted by the wise men, flew into a rage. He gave orders to massacre all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, in keeping with the time he had learned from the wise men.
Herod was used by the enemy to try and stop God’s redemption plan
but God watches over His word- and what the enemy meant for evil God used to fulfill His words

Even the attacks of the enemy have to align with God’s word!

Herod Goes into a satan rage, But God uses it to fulfill the promise-
Matthew 2:15,17
Matthew 2:17 CSB
Then what was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled:
Genesis 50:20 CSB
You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result—the survival of many people.
God still takes what the enemy means for evil and flips the script
God is still good, and God still loves you and me
Christ is the display of the Love of God for mankind
and if mankind can be at its worse when God provided Jesus, How much more now that we are sons and daughters of God, will he bless out lives
Satan Tried to stop it, but God had plans of redemption, and the redeemed life in the life that walks in the blessing of God
Philippians 4:19 CSB
And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

God watches over His word

When we Live by Faith we align our lives, Our Thought, and our Actions with the Word of God
And God fulfills His promises
Matthew 2:19 CSB
After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
God still speaks and watches over His word:
Psalm 119:105 CSB
Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.
When we Walk according to the word of God we walk in the Light
WE are guided
We are protected
We do the will of God
