I have been thinking a lot about the western church:
I have come to see that in many ways we have fallen into the trap of being in and of the world.

I knew we where in trouble when the world started using the faiths language to describe there quality of life.
“Being Blessed” is much more than just money and things!

Now before you jump on me and say, “What’s wrong with people recognizing that the Lord has is the source of someones prosperity?” let me tell you, nothing. the problem is when we allow the world to define the meaning of blessing.
To be Blessed means to Have favor with the Lord. a person can be blessed in many ways. not just monetarily. A person can be blessed with knowing who and how they are. A person can be blessed with a good family, a person can be blessed with good friends. A person can be blessed with a good understanding that if your daily needs are met then you are far and above better of then the rest of the world. I am blessed to pastor and be a part of this church! a Person can be blessed with health. a person can be blessed with a positive outlook or good countenance.
In any case, a person who has recieved Jesus as their Lord and savior is blessed and all other things come second to that! blessing is much more than material!
