Snow covers God purges

Snow covers the ground and turns it white, God purges our sins are declares us pure white.
Isaiah 1:18 ““Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”

Two Kinds of Blindness

Post Modernism

The latest excuse why christianity doesn’t work.
Defined by the experts at Wikipedia: “An intellectual stance or mode of discourse characterized by skepticism towards the use of reason and logic.”
Linked to:Critical Theory
Deconstruction
Post Structuralism
From this carnal doctrine we are to conclude the christian faith is finally overcome and obsolete.
This is the new zeitgeist - spirit of the age - that defines the latest apostasy.
1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,”
2 Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,”

Deny Truth

Apostasy ἀποστασία apostasia - a defiant standing away against the faith and system of authority.
False Teachers have a seared conscience.
1 Timothy 4:2 “speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,”
Seared means cauterized with fire, scar tissue.
Our conscience is the bears witness to God’s truths Romans 2:15 “who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)”
Satan questions the teachings of God Genesis 3:1 “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?””
He is the father of lies John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”

Defy Logic

False Teachers deny logic, they confuse and redefine plain language. They teach these doctrines of demons.

Become Fools

1 Peter 2:15 “For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men—”
ἄφρων aphron - fool, without reason, non-thinker

Our Answer

Be Ready

1 Peter 3:10–17 “For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”
1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;”
Psalm 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.”
Proverbs 26:4 “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Lest you also be like him.”
Matthew 7:6 ““Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.”
1 Peter 3:16 “having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.”
A man had never seen a miracle or heard God’s voice - Advised to look up in a rain storm. Soaked he felt like a fool, quite a revelation for the first try.

True Logic

Isaiah 1:18 ““Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”
logic can only take you so far.
Want to go to Europe? Your car (logic) takes you to the airport. An airplane (faith) takes you the rest of the way there.
Redemption is revealed by the Spirit.

Be Ready with True Logic

Paul in Athens - Giving Doctrine

Acts 17:17 “Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there.”
He used logic, doctrine, and reasoning to win souls
Acts 17:32–34 “And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, “We will hear you again on this matter.” So Paul departed from among them. However, some men joined him and believed, among them Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and others with them.”

Paul in Philippi - Living Doctrine

They were imprisoned but free to praise God and with their testimony witness faith
Acts 16:25 “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.”
Acts 16:29 “Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.”
Acts 16:30–31 “And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.””
We teach the doctrine of the Finished Work
and we live the doctrine of the Finished Work

Second “Blindness” - God Doesn’t See Our Sin

Isaiah 1:18 ““Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”
The best device for clearing the driveway of snow is a youth who wants to use the car.
