Here are the MOVES we must make:

I. We Must Know The Saviour. vs.9-10

โ€œknowingโ€ ๐Ÿ“—(1828)
1. Having clear and certain perception of.
2. Skillful; well informed; well instructed; as a knowing man.
We know Him as the resurrected Saviour. v.9a
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more;
We know Him as the remaining Saviour. v.9b
death hath no more dominion over him.
We know Him as the right Saviour. v.10
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

II. We Must Dethrone Sin. vs.11-12

We dethrone sin when we account of the cross of Christ. v.11a
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin,
We dethrone sin when we access the cross of Christ. v.11b
but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We dethrone sin when we abide in Christ. v.12 (John 15:4-7)
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

III. We Must Give Ourselves. v.13

Admit we have a choice to sin. v.13a
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin
Admit we have a chance to succeed. V.13b
but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead
Admit we have a commitment to serve.
and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God
