The Dangers of Being Apathetic Christian

Bible Text: Matthew 7:21-23
Intro: What is the Apathetic?
Apathetic, according to merriam-webster
1: having or showing little or no feeling or emotion: spiritless
2: having little or no interest or concern: indifferent
I.I never knew you (Verse 23 b)
a.They are not doers of Gods words.
James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
b.They are anti-Christ
1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
c.They are not truly crucified with Christ
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
II.Depart from Me ( Verse 23 c)
a.They are excluded - Some people never realize that they themselves are the source of their own rejection because they refuse to follow the principles of Christian living.
