Hebrews 11:8 (CSB)
By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and set out for a place that he was going to receive as an inheritance. He went out, even though he did not know where he was going.
Obedience is acting on the word of God.

By faith even Sarah herself, when she was unable to have children, received power to conceive offspring, even though she was past the age, since she considered that the one who had promised was faithful.
He considered God to be able even to raise someone from the dead; therefore, he received him back, figuratively speaking.
When God speaks He has a purpose, He has a plan

Joshua 1:1–5 (CSB)
After the death of Moses the Lord’s servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’s assistant: “Moses my servant is dead. Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan to the land I am giving the Israelites. I have given you every place where the sole of your foot treads, just as I promised Moses. Your territory will be from the wilderness and Lebanon to the great river, the Euphrates River—all the land of the Hittites—and west to the Mediterranean Sea. No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. I will be with you, just as I was with Moses. I will not leave you or abandon you.
The Promise of God was given, but the people needed to act in Faith.

When God speaks, we have a choice, and the word of God isn’t dependent of a person
Moses was the one that God spoke through reminding the people of the promise God made to Abraham, but Moses was no more
But the Promise of God still stood
The Word of God is not dependent on a person, It is dependent on God!
And God is faithful!
The Rock—his work is perfect;
all his ways are just.
A faithful God, without bias,
he is righteous and true.
This is who God is!
“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.
God upholds His word
Therefore we can be strong and courageous!
Joshua 1:7–9 (CSB)
Above all, be strong and very courageous to observe carefully the whole instruction my servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go. This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to meditate on it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do. Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
The Success of was determined on their obedience and acting on the Word of the Lord
this is a Biblical principle- Obedience is better then sacrifice
When we Dont follow God’s Word- and the Leading of the SPirit- We forfeit the blessing
“Carefully follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase, and may enter and take possession of the land the Lord swore to your ancestors.

Believing is putting our trust in God- Be Strong and Courageous because God is Faithful

Imagine the Life that is lived by faith
IT IS THE LIFE THAT KNOWS THE WORD OF GOD, BELIEVES THE WORD OF GOD AND ACTS ON THE WORD OF GOD

“If you listen to and are careful to keep these ordinances, the Lord your God will keep his covenant loyalty with you, as he swore to your ancestors. He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will bless your offspring, and the produce of your land—your grain, new wine, and fresh oil—the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks, in the land he swore to your ancestors that he would give you. You will be blessed above all peoples; there will be no infertile male or female among you or your livestock.
Everything that God told Joshua was done relying on God
Be strong and courageous
Because I am with you
Observe my word
I am leading you
Dont Turn to the left or Right
Cause I know the plans I have
dont Be afraid
I have given you the land
Don’t be Frightened
You have the victory because I am with you!

Words Matter
We speak what we believe!
A good person produces good out of the good stored up in his heart. An evil person produces evil out of the evil stored up in his heart, for his mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.
If it in here (The Heart) it will come out Here (The mouth)
You confess what you believe
WE proclaim faith-
On the contrary, what does it say? The message is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the message of faith that we proclaim:
I PREACH FAITH!
So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.

We are the conquerors - We were weren’t God would expect us to be!
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

that is why we see so much evil in this world
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,
We are more then Conquerors through the one who has loved us
JESUS TOOK THE KEYS BACK AND GAVE THEM TO THE CHURCH
The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
He said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. Look, I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; nothing at all will harm you. However, don’t rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Joshua was given the authority to Go and take the land by faith

Our testimony- Faith has led us to this moment and faith will lead us
“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

He left there and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him. When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished. “Where did this man get these things?” they said. “What is this wisdom that has been given to him, and how are these miracles performed by his hands? Isn’t this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us?” So they were offended by him.
Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his household.” He was not able to do a miracle there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them. And he was amazed at their unbelief. He was going around the villages teaching.
I WONT LEAVE JESUS AMAZED BY MY UNBELIEF
Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

I will take up the shield of faith which puts out all the flaming arrows of the evil one
Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength.
