Bruce Rylant was returning home from a trip and stopped to get gas in Georgia. When he reached his next stop, Ryland realized his wallet was gone. In a panic, he cancelled all of his credit cards and rushed to replace the lost insurance cards and his driver’s license. The one thing, Ryland was most upset about was the $305 cash in his wallet. He was relieved to find that no one had tried to use his cards, so he went about his routine until a package arrived in the mail about a week later. The package contained his wallet, including all of his credit cards, ID, and even the entire $305. The note enclosed said the finder had returned it because of three Bible verses, and urged Rylant to read them himself; Luke 10:27, Luke 16:10, Psalms 83:18. Though there wasn’t a name, Rylant got a gift card for $305 and sent it to the return address on the package. He said, “Hopefully, one day we can meet in person and I can shake his hand.”—Jim L.
