Jesus VS Paul

there are unbelievers that are pushing the difference between Jesus and Paul
I have listened to their podcasts
there are also Gay theologians/ Pastors who also push this heresy
their claim is Paul is preaching a gospel that is contradictory to Jesus Gospel
Paul preached by grace through faith
the crucifixion and resurrection
Jesus preached sell all you have and give to the poor
repent for the kingdom is at hand
since we have to choose who we are going to believe
I choose to follow Jesus and do good works and go to heaven
Besides Paul preached against the gays and Jesus did not
there is a group in the Church who is called Hyper dispensationalists / mid Acts Church
who believe
According to ultra-dispensationalism, the four Gospels are for Jews only and have no bearing on the church [emphasis added]. The book of Acts deals with a different “church” and not the body of Christ. Only the Prison Epistles of Paul are directed to the body of Christ or “mystery” church. Not even the book of Revelation addresses the church—the letters to the seven churches are written to the “Jewish” church of the tribulation. Also, most ultra-dispensationalists reject the ordinances of the church: water baptism and the Lord’s Supper were for the “Hebrew” church.
they believe that since the Jews rejected their Messiah that God then had to raise up Paul to go to the gentiles as God’s alternate plan
and since Paul does not talk about the communion or baptism they conclude that this was only for the Hebrew church
the gospels and most of Acts are for the Hebrew church
1-2 Peter Jude Revelation 1 2 3 John James and Hebrews are not relevant to today’s church
they are for the Hebrew church either then or the tribulation Church
to be saved in the Hebrew church is by works
to be saved today is by by grace through faith
to be saved in the tribulation is choose who you will worship Jesus or the beast
this Satanic heresy is very convoluted and un-Biblical
lets look at the conversation that Jesus had with the Lawyer
Luke 10 25-28.

Do This And Live

does this sound like a works base salvation?
we are getting ahead of ourselves
V 25 putting to the test
this was not a friendly banter
this was trying to trick Jesus into saying something to accuse him of
this was not a man seeking to be saved
we know this because in Romans it says
Romans 3:10–12 LSB
as it is written, “THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME WORTHLESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE.”
Inherit eternal life
this man was self Justified part of the family
Inherit is a something that is owed to you
I cannot think to inherit from the Rockefeller estate
but this man was a child of Abraham
thus Heaven is owed to him
the main purpose was to trap Jesus
so Jesus took him to the scriptures V 26
V 27 taken from Deut. 6 4-5.
this was something quoted every morning and Evening
It was a creed that the Jewish people all knew
but what does it really mean?
Lets see what Charles Spurgeon says
Do any of you want to live by the law? There is the law. Does any man here pretend that he has kept it? Let me ask any man here who would justify himself by his own works, have you thought of God today? How much time have you spent with God? or yesterday, how much of your time did you give him how many minutes? Would you venture to say that you spent a quarter of an hour in prayer? No, perhaps, if it comes to the truth, you did not spend five minutes. Now, if you loved God with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your strength, and all your mind, do you think that five minutes would satisfy such a love as that? Oh, no, sirs, you give God no love at all, and how can you think therefore, that you are keeping his law which puts it so strongly, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart? and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbor as thyself”? Have you ever done that? Neither the first nor the second table have you kept intact.
V 28 do this and live
the impossible command of the law
Is this what Jesus is teaching ? to obey the law and be saved?
to offer all the right sacrifices for your sins?
Paul tells us in
Romans 3:20 LSB
because by the works of the Law NO FLESH WILL BE JUSTIFIED IN HIS SIGHT, for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
James also tells us
James 2:10 LSB
For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.
so if Jesus is telling this man that he can be justified by the law there is a contridiction
Jesus is trying to get this man to see his failure
to fall and ask for mercy
Just like the rich young ruler saw his lack of keeping the law
Jesus was holding a mirror up to them and trying to get them to see themselves
no matter how good someone is- it falls way short of the glory of God
what did Jesus preach?
in Mark we see
Mark 1:15 LSB
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
the thief on the cross repented and believed
Abraham was justified by faith
Noah was given grace
Jesus taught repentance and believe the gospel

Paul’s Gospel

so did Paul come along and change the gospel
did Paul come along and make up his own thing
where did Paul get his theology of the church
before his conversion he was persecuting the church
Paul did not become saved because he kept the law
Paul in fact Paul counts all that he had in Judaism as dung
Read Gal 1 11-18
Taught by Jesus
for three years ish
2:7-8 just like Peter
taught the same gospel
V 21 all are saved by grace not the law
3: 6-14 saved just like Abraham
those who are saved by faith is the true seed of Abraham
Acts 26:20 LSB
but kept declaring both to those of Damascus first, and also at Jerusalem and then throughout all the region of Judea, and even to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, practicing deeds appropriate to repentance.
Paul also preached repentance and faith
the same gospel as Jesus
preaching the law was our tutor showing the sinfulness of sin the holiness of God
and our need of a savior
Paul and Jesus told the same message to two distinct audiences
I’ve listened to unsaved so called experts on theology try to tell me of how Paul and Jesus were incompatible, telling 2 different gospel messages.
also preachers telling the same message but for a different reason
Be careful don’t fall for these satanic traps
satan wants us to believe the lie.
we are controlled when we believe the lie
that is why we need to know the truth
Study to show yourself approved
