It has been said that your reactions are a better indicator of what you really believe than your actions. Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham and Fox News Channel host Greta Van Susteren recently found out how true that statement really is. Graham, Van Susteren, and a group of people were riding in an elevator in an old office building when it suddenly stopped, jerked violently, and began to fall. Van Susteren recorded the incident on her cell phone and described what happened after the group was able to pry open the elevator doors and escape the situation. She said she was afraid that the elevator was going to break loose and fall to the bottom of the shaft which would have meant certain death. On the video, the Reverend Graham is heard calmly describing what he felt would happen if the elevator were to plunge to the bottom of the shaft. Graham said, “If it goes down, I’m going up.”—Jim L.
