Ohio police say a middle school student apparently took up to $25,000 from his grandfather and gave $100 bills to classmates. They say several thousand dollars were passed out before they discovered what was happening. Investigators were able to recover up to $7,000, but said some of the money had been spent already. Authorities say they do not know how the student took the money from his grandfather and are still investigating. They say multiple students and well as guardians, adults, and associates of the students had received and spent portions of the money. Police also recovered some the merchandise that was purchased. At this point, police say several people are still under investigation for their roles in the incident.--Jim L. Wilson and Jim Sandell
