Notes & Transcripts

NBA MVP, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry led his team to an historic championship. Curry became just the sixth player in NBA history to win his first MVP and first title in the same season. He also made waves for a record-breaking 98 three-point shots during the playoffs. Curry often points with his right index finger every time he makes a three-pointer as a way of proclaiming his love and faith towards Jesus Christ. Curry also designed a shoe that had the number 4:13 on the bottom representing Philippians 4:13. He says that verse is on his shoe because, “Each game is an opportunity to be on a great stage and be a witness for Christ. When I step on the floor, people should know how I represent, who I believe in.”—Jim L. Wilson and Jim Sandell
