Mike Vegas ordered pizza and wings from a pizza company. He only had time to eat one slice of pizza before he left for work, so he put the rest of the order in the refrigerator to eat later. While he was at work that night, he kept getting message on his cell phone, but he didn’t pay any attention to them. The next morning when he got home, he took the order out and when he opened the box of wings, he discovered what the messages were about. The deliveryman had left about $1,300 in cash inside the wing box after switching a box of wings and the evening bank deposit. Vegas says that he was tempted to keep the cash, but he knew he shouldn’t, so he called the store and gave it back to them. The manager of the restaurant thanked Vegas and gave him free pizza for a year. He said, “Thank you so much for this, honest people are hard to find these days.”—Jim L. Wilson and Jim Sandell
