Well, there's somebody in this room. I've known longer than you Dave. My dear friend Frank, I drove home from Ghana to my way of stand-up brother Frank. and we met in 1987 prank. How many were not born in 1987 and have to have some of your like now? That's I was just yeah, we were kids then and he is from Kumasi Ghana and then Delroy Parke Powell who Dave and I were at your church two years ago and our friends. Wow, thank you all the way from Donna. I think the United States has an international meeting with you. Wow, that's great. We need a bigger room. We need big come out. We need to pray that that new venue in cuz God has God wants to grow his church. How many think that growing is good staying healthy things grow. Check out with the parents, right if you keep feeding those kids they grow. I don't know when it's going to come out but I have a word for RCF maybe for some of you too, but Dave asked me to share on this exciting topic of stir up the gift of God. And what does that mean? Well is Dave said it you have a gift you have Christ in you, right but we have to Stir It Up because we're in a battle how many field of battle? All right, I guess the rest of you are dismissed if we're here. We're here to train for Warfare and stir up the gift because we have the best gift in the whole world to give people, right? I got one of em in from the pasture but we pay him to say and then but we have the best we have the best gift Christ in us, right and the Holy Spirit God.
God gave us his best gift right Jesus Christ would be awful at the church never talked. So God gave his best gift then Jesus came and when he ascended he gave his best gift Holy Spirit, right? Are you with me? So the Holy Spirit not to be outdone, but he's he's part of the Trinity. He then gave his best gift. On the day of Pentecost. What are you getting? spiritual language report of the spirit Acts chapter 2 when the Holy Spirit came and pulled out. The first thing that happened to those humans on the planet. But you know what Spirit language is such a powerful gift that you and I have the privilege of exercising and out of that comes then other giftings for the Holy Spirit pours out his gift of the Holy Spirit immediately alerted man. So we're here tonight to just talk about the gift and the Stir It Up will look look at that what that means. I don't want you to be ignorant or uninformed. What's it mean to be a spiritual person while I listen to Christian music? I must be spiritual. I sing I sing Christian songs I go to church. All the things we think it's is at a behavior doesn't make you spiritual. What really test your spirituality is what comes out of your mouth? That's why so many to be a talkin Church. You really don't know if someone's spiritual or what they do is being driven by the holy spirit in their life. Concerned he says I don't want you to be ignorant. I don't want to be uninformed. Ever heard the phrase being led by the spirit right? I'm being led by the spirit. Even when you're a pagan you're being led. And it's interesting that you are being led to a voiceless Idol. They were worshipping Idols back then statues in wooden carvings and stone carvings and they couldn't talk to worship idols and they couldn't talk. We serve a God that talks. That's why we're talking Church. You were LED. Astray going the wrong direction to voiceless Idols. However, you were LED. So we all have But I called blood poisoning, right? We're all being led by something. You can get anybody to say that if your payment of money, right? I was around a hundred pound note and said Jesus is Lord. Thank you. We can go around the neighborhood. But every knock on every apartment here's a hundred pounds if you'll say Jesus is more and I'll give you a hundred pounds born again, not necessarily you have to say it by the spirit. Guess who's making the difference here speaking by the spirit? So this this is the beginning of this whole teaching which goes for three chapters chapter 12 chapter 13 chapter 14 is one topic and the topic is what how to speak by the spirit. God made you that way. So we need to learn how God made us so we can manifest the very gifts that he gives us.

Maybe desire on Sunday morning just desire. Spiritual gifts. Can you just try it? Why is it a problem with the 40 pursue love after Love and Desire spiritual gifts this word desire. It's a compelling force that comes from the holy spirit that causes you to take a leap into the supernatural. Desire Spirit flight you're going to have to take a step of faith. And boil up on the inside. That's why we worship. There's just actually ways to do this real talk about tonight cuz they're to The Boiling up of the holy spirit in you and take a step. So I'm not going to manifest because what if I want to train the school schooling for ruling we're going to rule and Reign and we have to learn how to manifest the Holy Spirit and we're here to be equipped by the ministry which manifests. There is one thing in the Bible you're allowed to come in not your neighbor's wife. Not as money for the stuff bosses. You can covet spiritual gifts. I want I want to have it because I want to bless somebody and not for yourself. So I can show up on Sunday morning. I want to get up and get the microphone. I got to work. I want to manifest so I can be seen versus I'm going to bless somebody else. Start for you. So this whole idea of follow after love and love is the engine inside of you that stirs up the True Heart Of God manifests for someone else and that's not your love. That's not familial love. That's not love you have for your spouse or your children or a family member. This is the most amazing. Love It's Supernatural.

And where does it come from the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy spirit is not an emotion. Because I travel so much and I'm in a lot of foreign countries in a meeting. So I'm in a meeting sometimes and I might be the first time in a church. I can't understand anything on the screen. It's in Chinese. I'm still there. I can't speak their language and I've got a minister and inside but never met before. I can't even have a normal conversation. I have use interpreter but inside I have to say father. Love these people tonight through me. I'm just a vessel that you can pour your love threw me into those people that I've never been before. I may never see him again. But may the love of God be shed abroad in My Heart by the Holy Spirit. That's how I can get up and props like over a total stranger having never met them in a with an interpreter and God can touch their heart because my the love of God is shed in my heart for them. I have to stop I can't be selfish I can sit there. No, I'm tired. I'm jet-lagged. What am I doing here? You think you'll especially that you can hear people when it has a lot of sickness, right? And it's not getting easier.
How do you say special that you can use to get the feeling cuz when that be like the most important? Not this early and why prophecy? I look at it this way of the nine gifts of the Spirit. Ikaris, how's your prayer life? Amazing anybody, how's your prayer life? Well on a scale of 1 to 10, maybe a 5 you don't we have all kinds of ways. How do you measure your prayer life? I don't know I've cried and we think we have to come to God with the answer for a predicament. Now. Here's what I need you to do to solve this problem in my life. And I was going like it's a lot easier if you get out of the way, right? No pulse is Corinthians what a perfectly perfectly prays every time according to the will of God. So why do why do we always come and try to pray in English or you're no language? We pray with understanding limited vocabulary to try to get to God. I need this machine. Would you stop that and start that and whatever we're trying to plead with God and to recollect. I just want to pray in the spirit. What do that first? Also, I will pray with my spirit and then I'll pray with understanding. Sometimes you bring your spirit.
chill out I like that for an answer to prayer what don't do anything all these issues. I'll take care of it. If you think we have to come and take care of it. So that God can do is work how very funny how we just funny how we our prayer life get so complicated when we have the Holy Spirit prophecy then is representative of all the gifts of the Spirit. That's my pulse it especially I want you to pursue and desire spiritual gifts, especially proxy wife. It was actually had been in bed for two weeks and we were praying for it to go to the doctor Mary Jane's. I went over 11 evening to pray for her. Introduce a pastor pressure supposed to be for two weeks. I don't like 4 and we got to the room and we went to pray for and the Holy Spirit unforgiveness softly in my sister unforgiveness. So I just said gently said this before we pray for your back. Can you just ask the Holy Spirit if there's anybody you need to forgive? Just asking. I just don't want you to ask him. I was at think I just got to work. I told me you're in on forgiveness and that's why you're sick. The spirit of God was in control of that meeting he knew exactly what she needed healing is always in the will of God, but it's not always his priority. Okay, but it's not always has priority. He wanted her to walking unforgiveness or I wanted her to walk in forgiveness for this person. So you can't and that's that's why the prophetic is so important to hear God's answer in a situation what's going on here. So Paul says pursue love. desire spiritual gifts, but especially what The Holy Spirit telling you how to manifest them. Especially what that you may be prophetic in the use of spiritual gifts in the prophetic is very important. Let me give you one more tip here, which I think is wonderful. Go down the first five. But if you're in 1st Corinthians Chapter 14 verse 56 now, I want you all to speak in tongue all just a little Creek Elementary teaching that if you speak in tongues, you speaking to God not to man. Devil hates tongues because he you get to communicate to go out and cheat. He can understand it either. And it opens up the prophetic flow in your life supposed to do it cause your tongue to another force causes you to yield your rights yield your members to The Holy Spirits control. And when you do that you'll need to God is a humility that brings Grace humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. He begins to pour out Grace. You can place the ball boys. Maybe at a prayer meeting where everybody Spirit-filled but even then it is kind of crazy sounds like a competition there been one of those readings by the only one I guess we only do that in America.
It's not a competition. We're not out to impress anybody cuz nobody understands that that's the point or ninety plus percent of your own talking is to God but then see what that does. Is. They just want to be known. You know how much I gave last week right people that love to give to God and to bless others will never know. He'll be one of those like, I don't want them to know. That's a real heart to give you don't want other people to know about it, but that's a gift all these things are gifts. So what do we do straight up going to 2nd Timothy? 1:6 2nd, Timothy 16 and Paul again now, he's writing a pastoral epistle. 2 Timothy so that he can preach it and teach it to the to the Believers. He's responsible for 2nd Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 6 Paul says for this reason I'm reminded how many of you have to be reminded. Somebody come to church week after week. We get reminder because you get out there. It's a battle and the media is reminding you every day of their agenda. Right and the world the world's agenda is flooding us now that we have our wonderful little devices. The little rectangles angle your reading your Bible on it. That's a good use of it. But sometimes there's other uses that consume us. And so the world's messages are coming supposed to remind you. You said to Timothy. I want to remind you to what watch the phrase fan into Flame the gift of God. That's right word Charisma the Charisma of God, that's the supernatural endowment. That's where the word Grace comes from Karis. What's the Greek word for Grace stir up the grace that's in you? It's there, but you got to Stir It Up. That's a beautiful word. Is another compound word Anna Anna. Anna is a prefix which means repetitive by us is the word for biology, right? That's our biological life. But there's no way which is spiritual life. That's the life that God give you when you have been you come alive right that you might have life and have it more abundantly that Spirit life is Zoe Saldana that was weird for fire stir up the fire of God by repetitive exit. If you can't just go one time. That's why praying in tongues. He had just shot by while you might need to shop at laba. Daba. Daba, whatever it just you got to stir stir yourself. This is what we call in the Greek God. We just move on me then maybe I maybe I'll pray for somebody. It's kind of taking you to see if the Holy Spirit isn't moving. Then you move the Holy Spirit. I was just texting with one of my kids right before the meeting had an answered prayer.
Come on, somebody about somebody somebody say amen and amen prayer works as long as you work prayer. Supposing what you stir up. Holy Spirit The Gospel can come to you if you're lost but then the holy spirit said she will free to choose while they were I I made a great decision one day. I just decided to follow Jesus he set you free to follow him. If there's a lot of controversy around these two words free will to me. It's almost an oxymoron. You're not born free. You're born in sin. Come on. Somebody read the same Bible. I am right and God has to set you free to choose. Jesus said very clearly. You didn't choose me. I chose you. So this whole thing about soaking salvation comes you activate the gift of Salvation with your will stay with the Holy Spirit you activate the gifts of the Spirit by your wealth. So when we went to pray for that sister Church, I had to choose to submit my will to the holy spirit will lead my way into that prayer and she probably would still be a better day and I have to activate spiritual gifts based on your will that's why it's as he Wills. 22 where David's going to war and David. In his wisdom word go to war pretty good Warfare strategy, maybe some of our world leaders should take a tip from David anyway. 2nd Samuel chapter 5 was up against the Philistines and he goes to the stronghold and I'm going to take you back just a little bit and Brace 19 David inquired of the Lord and said shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you give them into my hand of the Lord said to David go up? Or I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand. And so David went up they came to baal-perazim and he defeated them and he said the Lord has broken through our birth through my enemies like a bursting flood. So I'm going to name that place baal-perazim the lord of the Breakthrough of the Breakthrough Turtle. David's breakthrough was what I heard from God. I'm going to go up against the Philistines. That was the Breakthrough hit a breakthrough in courage to break through and heart breakthrough in commitment white and half on the inside the battles. One of the I do got to win the battle on the inside the greatest battles. You have enough the battles around you for the battles within you and sometimes the battle is obeying God when everything is that I should go up against the bills. Rouse yourself and the Holy Spirit and you can just sit there like a chair just sit in a chair. No movement. Just totally like whatever. Then you look over the people that are moving. What kind of wild charismatic are they change the atmosphere? Because it's not about you. You're worshipping God David was a worshipper he knew how to connect with God. worship song for us forgot that's why I heard our church and I just I just love watching worship. But when people say today news Nobody was worshipping you as I talk to you.
Okay, that's funny funny times. This whole idea of soldiers and warfare. We're in a war against sickness in words of wisdom and knowledge and how to discern.
Watch out for that language. It's not the gift of discernment is the gift of the Discerning of spirits your Discerning what spirit is in operation somebody?
