1. The curse of the fig tree
when in his way he was hunger and did not find food, he makes this signal to remember that as Cristian we are called not only to avoid the bad action, but do good action, that is the fruits that Jesus waits for all of us.
2. The second expel of the money exchangers
Jesus shows the people the nature of his Authority, he expels the merchants from the temple and they say with which authority did you make this, he answered them: destroy this temple and in tree day I will rebuild it again.
They indeed destroyed the body of Crist and he will rebuild again. His authority over us is his divinity and his sufferings.
But this not only recall us his authority, but more over how God is jealous from a clean hearth. We are his temples, when he lives but the grace of baptism, we have to purify it and tear off what offends God’s presence.
3. Then at the evening the Gospel show us the anointing in Bethany:
That woman spends this costly perfume that, it was the wages of one year to buy this kind, was the custom of the Jews to wash their feet when they have a feast a guest, but with water.
But this woman she knew that is the last time, he discovers the love of Christ no hesitate to spend the costly for him, because that body is the body of Christ, the body of the Son of God.
The churches knows that that body is hire in the altar, and that is why he put all the best to adorn, and even know there al lot of people that say why the church did no sell it for the poor, they do not understand that is God.
But using the figure of that woman how delicacy she treated the body of Christ, we have to thick in how we treat this body that is here in the eucharistic.
Because the same body that this woman anointed witch this perfume, is the one that you will receive.
We have asked pardon Jesus because that woman did understand this was his body and how she treated.
But today his body, we treated like something, during this pandemic many churches abandoned Christ, and many of us have treated his body as something dangerous, like if he will transmitted the death, not the life.
Look how this woman receive and anointed the body of Christ and reflect how are you receiving the body of Christ.
"While I was helping a certain priest at Mass in the said convent of Santa Clara, at an altar near the door of the sacristy, Master Avila entered at the same time that the said priest made the signs with the particle on the chalice and did them very quickly and with little reverence, and the said Master Avila came up to him as if he were going to straighten a candle. And he said to him in a low voice, “Treat him well, for he is the son of a good Father
How is the reverence when you receive this body, are you Christ?
This woman that anointed his body show us, how many reverences we need to revive the body of Christ.
Treat him well, for he is the son of a good Father, and Son of the Most Blessed Mother.
