9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

This is common language in the bible… Doors, portals, gates, dimensions, levels
Bro. Haygood said that he sees a door that we are going through…
There was a vision this past week where one of you saw a mighty army in the door, dressed in the armor of God.
I want to talk to us about going through that door.

9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
We have to have a mindset change from holding ground to taking ground!
On the other side of the door is fulfillment.
I have to fight myself through the door!
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
We don’t understand this…
Our understanding of trusting in God is very basic at best.
Job-like trust
Job 13:15 (KJV 1900)
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: But I will maintain mine own ways before him.
It’s a trust-in-time-of-trouble understanding.
Something bad is happening and so I will trust Him.
Sickness, loss of job, family issues, relationship trouble,
It don’t matter how much abuse you allow in my life I will trust you Jesus…
God is calling this church beyond that understanding!
What if there is another dimension of trusting God?
Luke16.19-31
We have taught that their is basically a one way mirror between heaven and hell
Part of the pain of hell is seeing what you missed.
BUT what if that was not the case?
What if in heaven you could look into hell and see those loved ones that did not make it?
But there was such a sense of justice that even in seeing a friend in torment, we new that the right decision was made and our peace would come from God’s justice!
There is a dimension of trust that God wants to take you in that defies explanation!
And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Go pray for Saul!
Let me remind you God of who this man is.
Go trust me!
We have to listen to what God is trying to tell us!
Challenging your ideas.
Old way of doing things.
There is a door in front of us we are stepping through…
Listen to him as he guides us through it.
Enemies first step:
Chaos and distraction
Sickness
Money problems
Family problems
Pray through those things!
Those things are the storms that have sent you running for cover in the past!
Pray through the storm!
Fast through the chaos!
Focus on the door!
Listen for the voice of God tell you things you have never heard before!
From trust to faith to boldness!
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
What you have always known…
How we have always operated…
No longer works!
Conclusion:
That army in God’s armor was unified!
Fast this week Monday after dinner to Wednesday dinner time.
Prayer every day at the church.
Come to church and pray before each service
Check on each other.
