Luke 24:15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned,  Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.16 But their eyes  were holden that they should not know him. 17 And he said unto them, ‶ What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, ″ and are sad?

To begin with Brothers and sisters, Christians Friends, Well Wishers, and Saints of God There are a plethora of plum, pleasing, principles, presented in this sermonic pericapy today. The Luke 24 message is simple Jesus Rose from the dead. The women came to anoint his dead body but Jesus had already got up from the grave. The shining angels said He’s not here He’s risen just as He said He would. Mary and Mary Madeline Joanna and other women were astonished at the spectacular event.

They went and told Peter and the other disciples. Peter jumps up and starts to run to the sepulcher and John out ran him to there then waited for Peter. Peter went in first and saw the grave clothes folded up and laid down. They left the grave saying what in the world is going on here?

Meanwhile in verse 13 the bible says that there were two disciples traveling about 7 miles from Jerusalem to a little village called Emmaus. As we search the historicity of this famous scripture, we can’t help but wonder what wonderful things Jesus told them.

And I am cognizant that even now in 2024 Jesus speaks to us all the time. In These days and times the bible says God speaks to us in a small still voice. And God wants us to Be still and Know that I He is God. The world is speaking so loudly until even Christians have a hard time choosing the right way too go. But Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths… And the church said Amen.

We hear about moral, spiritual, and ethical issues and the country has gone stone crazy!

And you know what that tells me, Somebody ask me What it tells you? People will follow wrong doctrine all day long to fit their intended purposes. Say it ain’t so Rev?

Well I’m sorry but it’s the truth. I know it’s the truth because even in biblical antiquity unholy people forged an elaborate sinister scheme and a diabolical wicked plot against Jesus. And they through divine prophecy ended up Killing Jesus on a Roman Cross at Calvary. And Now here we are three days later on the road to Emmaus.

Two of Jesus disciples are talking about the toxic, terrible, tyrannical, and tohubohu (toe -who-beau-who) events that just happens. Tohubohu means extreme disorder. And the two disciples are highly upset and here comes Jesus, strolling along and join in with them. And what I get out of that is that it’s not so much what you say but it’s what the community says. Jesus said What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? The key word here is Communications and the Word communication ii n the Greek vernacular is the word LOGOS. It means in this text the Line of Questioning. It not just the written word as in other texts But in this text it’s what’s being asked BY Jesus. By The WORD HIMSELF. Yes indeed. Because John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Teach Me Pastor.

Jesus says What Y’all talking bout?

Cleopas and the other disciple had conveniently rehearsed the narrative about what had happened to Jesus, Mind you now the bible says in verse 16 that they couldn’t recognized Jesus .

They said Man you can’t be from around here.

Any and Everybody whose from here knows what happen to pour Lord and Master Jesus. Jesus of Nazareth. He was a prophet who said and did many powerful things before God and all the people. 20 Our leaders and the leading priests handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him. 21 But we were hoping that he would free Israel. Besides this, it is now the third day since this happened. 22 And today some women among us amazed us. Early this morning they went to the tomb, 23 but they did not find his body there. They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels who said that Jesus was alive! 24 So some of our group went to the tomb, too. They found it just as the women said, but they did not see Jesus. And what they were saying was that Jesus was a great prophet, a good decent man and a man of moral, spiritual, and ethical integrity that the Sanhedrin Council had the Roman Government to Kill.

When Cleopas and the other disciple had conveniently rehearsed the narrative about what had happened to Jesus, Jesus said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

1. Jesus’ language was not smooth, and easy listening. Oh fools slow of heart to believe what the preachers said about Me.

2. Christ was supposed to suffer those things so that mankind would have a right to the tree of Life. and then

3. Jesus started at Moses an He expounded, explained, and exegeted the scriptures concerning Himself for 7 Long Miles.

That’s like spitting out doctrine from the Shiloh Church all the way to T.J. Ribs on Arcadian through way in Baton Rouge.

I’m studying a series of Prophecies concerning Jesus OT and NT and the massive amount of material is astonishing and overwhelming. And For the record I just want to point out that whatever is said in the NT scriptures was already said multiple times in the OT Scriptures. Specifically speaking Jesus’ birth, His Life, His Ministry, His Arrest, His Trial, His Crucifixion,His Death, His Burial, His descent down into hell, His Resurrection Easter Sunday Morning, His appearances before men after His resurrection, His Ascension back to Bright Glory and His Glorious Return When Jesus comes back for His Church that doesn’t have a spot or a wrinkle.

And so just to answer a few of the questions concerning The manner of communications yes sir about Jesus. He must have said some of these:

In Genesis Jesus is the seed of the woman

In Exodus He is the Passover Lamb. um um Yes

In Leviticus Jesus is High Priest.

In Deuteronomy He’s the True Prophet.

In Number Jesus is the She-kaina Glory Oh Lordy and

In Joshua Jesus is the Captain of our Salvation yes and

In Judges He’s our Delivering Judge/ Uplifted One.

In Ruth He’s our Kinsman Redeemer

In Ezra and Nehemiah Jesus is our Restorer.

In Samuel Chronicles and Kings Jesus is the True King

In Psalms Jesus is our book of songs oh yes He is.

In Proverbs He’s our wisdom teaching us right from wrong.

In Ecclesiastes He’s the Lover of Our Souls.

In Isaiah Jesus is the Bridegroom whose coming back for His church one day.

In Jeremiah He’s JUST LIKE FIRE SHUT IN MY BONES Oh Lordy.

In Ezekiel Jesus is the Wheel in the Middle of the wheel. um um

In Daniel Jesus is the fourth man in the Fiery Furnace. Yes He took the heat out of the flames. oh yes He did.

In Hosea Jesus is the Husbandman.

In Joel Jesus said I’ll pour out my spirit on all flesh.

In Amos Jesus is the Plumb line the measures our righteousness.

In Obadiah Jesus is the Deliverer who gives Providential Care to his people Oh yes He does.

In Jonah He’s the God of another chance to the wicked Ninevites.

In Micah Jesus is the Ruler in Israel

In Nahum Jesus is the God of Judgement

In Habakkuk Jesus is the LOGOS that says write the vision and make it plain. Oh Lord.

In Zephaniah Jesus is the sunshine coming through for a Glad day in Israel .

In Haggai Jesus declares that His House got to get repaired in order for them to get blessed and that the Manifestation of the Messiah’s Glory would fill the House. Glory to God

In Zachariah Jesus is the King riding on a donkey through the streets of Jerusalem.

In Malachi Jesus is mankind’s last and best hope for a Brighter day

In Matthew He’s The King.

In Mark He’s the Servant

In Luke He’s the Son of Man. But In John He’s the Son of God

Church, I’m just in awe over my God. We serve an Awesome God. We serve an All Power God!! Because Jesus is the King of Kings

Jesus is the Zenith of my Life

I’ve got to quit y’all but just before I go “ I heard that Cleophas nem reached Emmaus and Jesus acted liked he was going on down the road and they said Sir Stay with us

Because the day is far spent and we want you to come eat at our house. And the bible says in verse 30 When Jesus was at the table with them, he took some bread, gave thanks, divided it, and gave it to them. 31 And then, they were allowed to recognize Jesus. But when they saw who he was, he disappeared. Verse 32 said  They said to each other,Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

They said “It felt like a fire burning in us!!!!! When you hear the word of God it ought to be Like Fire Shut up In your Bones..... Ain’t He Alright! Ain’t He Alright 7th 2x Ain’t He Alright 7th, 8th, 10th Yeah 3x Oh Lord.
