Bible says Isaiah 55 verse number one hours and he come buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do you spend money for that which is not bread and your labor for that would satisfy. If not, Second one to me and let your soul to light itself in fattic Incline your ear and come unto me hear your soul shall live that will make it Everlasting Covenant with you. Even the shore mercies of David behold. I have given him for a witness to the people of leader and Commander to the people behold Thou shalt call a nation without. No. It's not in Nations that new do not show run on TV because of the Lord thy God and for the Holy One of Israel for he is glorified D. Heavenly father. I asked and pray that she would help us to understand your word this morning open our eyes that we may behold wondrous things out of that law to inform us into the image of Christ distance to rest today with a passion for the gospel, which can set Sinners free from their bondage of sin. Thank you for salvation in Jesus Christ and sending him to be our servant Who Loved Us Gave himself for us. We pray in his sweet and holy name. Amen. Let me share some things with you. Is it began that I found from trolls Fortune the prince of preachers in days gone by as we think about Isaiah 55 this wonderful passage, one of the greatest the invitation and all the scriptures Charles Spurgeon commenting on on satisfaction. He said multiple times in different places and different service that he preached the fact is that neither mortal birds can ever fill the insatiable in Mortal soul of man. He said again in another place man was made in the image of God and nothing will satisfy man. But God now remember you will never know the fullness of Christ until you know, the emptiness of everything else. But Christ, we well said again that has so many man's heart that nothing can ever see to it but God himself. And you said you think God would make us? So dissatisfied with this world. If you do not mean to satisfy us with another and a better one. Are you satisfied this morning and do what he's done for us and the Lord gives an invitation In this passage of Isaiah that if we're going to come to the Lord we must meet these conditions had going after other gods and after everything this world could offer them and in the end they found what their King and representative has it has really stated For All Mankind that in the end. It's nothing but vanity and vexation of spirit. That's what this world.

So this is this invitation is predicated on Israel's need but this invitation also affirms to them God's Shore promise. He had promised Abraham that they would inherit the land that they said that they would be a blessing every family of yours in the threefold promised to see the land the blessing that was given to Abraham. Will they did not realize all of that when they came into Canaan they only got through about thirty thousand square miles of the three.

Does that mean God and keep his words that mean God failed somewhere along the way? I know it's not his fault as it is his real spalton even in their in their Pentacle of being as close to God even in the days when they had a man leading them who was who is described as the man after God's Own Heart. They weren't satisfied with God. They went after other gods. They went after the world and now they have spend everything they had and they had sold themselves into bondage and they are burning the candle at both ends and they can't make ends meet and they are completely dissatisfied with the Fulfillment will be let me upset that correct that because she's going to prophesy it's not going to be for hundreds of years after he prophesize that they really experience the Judgment of God. It's also going to be after that that Jesus comes and pays the ultimate satisfaction. So you can't just leave this here and into the future of Futures because God still hasn't hasn't bless them with all that land has he got still hasn't done what he said he would do in this word mean he's not going to it means that that time hasn't been fulfilled yet. And Israel is still waiting for some things but I think by the time we come to them here and Isaiah. Strictly speaking. They are famished to no end. They have a bad wasted away everything. They have they they're bankrupt. They've got nothing to offer got it. So This Promise God's going to God's going to make a promise to them that is going to sound so sweet. But you know, I just wonder if somehow someway they didn't have some skepticism in the back of their mind that said well, yeah, I don't know if I can really do this unless the whole nation of God's promises.

God's invitation to Salvation to delivers to get them out of the mess. They were in Predicates the world's need does the world need God today. You have solutely Friday night is is just another verification at backed. Why should we expect centers to do anything other than the world is falling in in the world is depraved in mankind Humanities to pray that everything that they do we need God. Has God promised. Oh, yes. God has promised Jesus his promise salvation. And that's the answer. Jesus is the answer for all these arms are us God can help us with the world needs Redemption. The world needs to be bought back. When you tried everything under the sun to try to do what only God can do Judaism can answer. The problem state of humanity. God is the only one that can truly satisfy that need and so the invitation is given the world needs Redemption compare the news of this invitation to them to say. Hey God God's arms are open and he can he can meet the souls deepest need what you just come to him when you just come to this. I found this phone I found this phone to satisfy everything my heart never want and I'm satisfied in Jesus. I'm content like I've never been content before I Found Jesus. He's done. What no one else could do. I need to take this message to a lost and Dying World. We need to help them understand a means of redemption. Jesus came and died for that Isaiah by his stripes. We were healed it is through Jesus that this gift cards this morning with everybody that you're doing that you're trying everything. You can to help people see Jesus and God gives the increase doesn't he and his time according to his will work if we will not be weary in well-doing will reap in due season. The world needs Redemption. They're blind to God's promise oblivious that are bloodiest to their need many of them don't even know that they're lost and I'm done. They just they don't understand why they're not satisfied and if we can take the scriptures and show them how this all fits together when it finally quit to do this every other way, but God's way they might just come around and saving knowledge of the truth. They might just get a drink of Eternal Waters that'll satisfy their soul forever. Actually parched bankrupt Souls who are oblivious to their Eternal need and blind to God's promise deliver blinds people in 2nd Corinthians chapter number for that. They are blinded less. They see the light of the Glorious gospel of Christ in and have life. We have some blinders that we battle against that are put there by Satan we have obliviousness that we battle against then try to educate them and help them see the knowledge of the truth. So they say that one more time she can think about it spiritually parched charged bankrupt Souls. They got nothing to offer God anymore. They realize that they're not trying to do it by their own good work and realized it doesn't get them anywhere in the end and blinds.

She ate themselves when only Jesus can truly satisfy bankrupt Souls who are oblivious to their lead and blind to God's promise Deliverance that you delete. My first word was stupidly they stupidly try to satiate themselves. They fudally try to tell if you can truly satisfy. As we look at this invitation notice two things the needy recipients. And the promise Eternal promise that God gives you know, if there weren't a need and we've established that fact clearly Israel's in a time of need and God has promised that through his servant that need would be met for all eternity through his stripes. We are healed see the price has been paid and this passage bring some statements that when you read through it. I almost almost every time I consulted about 20 times and something obedient to be presently clear to you about what the passage of saying about about the 40th reading you might be on a track understanding what the Bible says and then to go and you can sulk everyone else and see what she would have said we stand on the shoulders of giants and thanks to the side almost popped into my mind. No money. Over and over I saw that question post about your having money. I know well about standing there looking at the Shelf in the price tag going. Well that be nice but just not going to happen right now. It's not not the bank just not there when you don't have any money this morning. That's like no other store when you come into the doors you come in wanting. I mean you got to come in that's the first condition if you don't want and you don't belong there. If you're out there if you will and when you come and you survey the shelves to this store all the price tags on them. They read instead of a dollar amount. They read paid in full paid in full Paid in Full the shelter never going to run out what is eternally replenished by God himself and he paid for it all. This is us back your bought with a price. We're not our own. How can we buy something? We have no money. Will the only way we can do that is if somebody who has the money takes us in and says, what do you need? Dude, is this is yours and then they go to the cash register. They take out their pocketbook or their checkbook and cut the check for it and you don't pay for it. But you still enjoy it when else pays for that we get to enjoy. Show the needy recipients are some conditions that have to be met if we're going to come and Obey this invitation. Number one, Isaiah says you have to be thirsty, but you got to be thirsty. Everyone in bursts number one, Isaiah says and Isaiah 55:1 concern on behalf of the hearer. There's still something that we need to listen to everyone who's invited. everyone everyone. Versus so yes, everyone can come but only when they're thirsty enough to listen to God and hear what he says is to everyone everyone. Come to the waters without price. Everyone says you have to be thirsty immediately.

Was that ride was A Feast of Tabernacles in John chapter number 7. Maybe I had to be strong but it's the last day of the beast in Jerusalem there in the temple. They had these huge water park. Signifying remember when Moses struck The Rock in the wilderness and and in the waters came forth the waters that's part of the celebration of the last day that Jesus is standing in the temple and the water passages of the water fountains. Are there in the water is clearly seen Jesus lives up his voice and he cries and John chapter 7 verse number 37 in the last day to great day of the feast Jesus stood and cried saying if any man thirst let him come unto me and drink.

Okay, Jesus. You going to open up your best and pull out and get a water for everyone come get your free bottle of water here. You going to give it anybody to come?

I thought of the the woman at the well do a gesture of kindness and help him as if he was thirsty and Human Condition in and then he told her, you know, if you keep drinking I can give you some water that when you drink it you'll never thirst again. I want that water. I'm trying to come in here and let my bucket down every time I come and getting water out and and spinning my wheels on the bus by Just get thirsty again. Give me that water sure if you would please. The water the shocking about is a spiritual water. It's the water that satisfies the soul 3800 rivers of Living Water. John chapter 6 Jesus talks about eating his flesh and drinking his blood. He's not talking about being a vampire or some cannibal. He was teaching a spiritual truth that was going to separate between the carnal disciples and the spiritual disciples those that understood that I didn't understand Jesus knew why they were following him. I couldn't get past the flash. They couldn't get past their their own car. Now D sheet We Believe on Jesus verse 39 John clarifies with a parentheses says tricky of the spirit on the seashore By the Waters. It was plural and that's why they said it's By the Waters and they can hear the message of Hope for them after they've been at sea for so long. I don't know if that's exactly Send it or not, but I thought it was a good application in the less. She John says he's talking about the spirit which they that believe on him should receive when you believe you receive. What do you get you get the waters you get to Spirit you get the satisfaction you get the quenching of the thirst for the Holy Ghost was not given yet don't happen in Acts chapter 2 and 1/2 for the Jews because that Jesus was not yet glorified. He wasn't get crucified buried Andresen and ascended she has to glorification of Jesus John says all that has happened by the time he's he's getting out of this invitation in the great day of the feast if you're thirsty, the water's is where you'll get your satisfaction the need of the recipient a the prices paid you just come on in and then you can enjoy what you have to be thirsty. You have to be bankrupt.

Nothing to offer God when you come you can't come in and say we can't come into the store and say well that looks good. How about, you know, you don't have to pay for you will be thrown to the curb and you won't be allowed in. In fact that you know what this store they check your they check your belongings before you come in, you know with whatever x-ray radar TSA today's I'm just kidding and and they make sure that you have no wallet that you have no bank account that you have no money that you have nothing to offer when you come in. He's got to come in empty. You got to come in you got to come in bankrupt and this is foundational this so many times from behind blessed are the Oh, come on, you can do better than that.

What's a it all together and you'll memorize first this morning blessed are the poor in spirit?

Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven until your bankrupt before God give no business there because he has paid the price and it is a slap in the face to Jesus to try to get there. Any other way you've got to be bankrupt look at it again and verse number one show everyone that thirsteth come you to the waters, and he that has no money. I really like that statement. That's one of my favorite verses and all the Bible not because I have no money. But because I have no money. No see this is this is to all those who would want to see life. This is just wonderful.

I understand what this. stairs down the wall where no one has an excuse not to be there the rich to poor. It doesn't matter. He's a has no money when you understand and I'll talk about material wealth. I'm talking about spiritual. I can't serve God and Mammon You Can't Get To Heaven on roller skates song says of the children sing your own merits and so many people are trying everything they can to please God and hoping to Merritt some of his otherwise, it's no more grace. You can't work and earn God's grace Hebrews are Romans chapter 11 verse number 6 tells us if it's a great sense of grace and works its of works and I can't remember how the first exactly goes cuz it's it confuses me every time I think about reading it, but if it works, it's no more grace it cancels it out.

If we're going to receive in and she this invitation that you got to be thirsty, you got to realize that you can't get there on your own. You've got to be bankrupt before God and then thirdly you've got the cash it in if you want it. You got to claim his grace. If you hear the message of an invitation and then you declined to go for whatever reason do you get to enjoy the benefits of receiving the invitation is a nice car remind you that you were invited until you actually get in your car and drive down to the store and get out and walk into the store salvation. You're never going to be able to enjoy it and this is something that you do on your own. You have to claim his grace. Look at it. First. Number one again. This is how everyone that thirsteth to the waters and he's bankrupt the Thirsty come in a 4 x

I told us not watch that's why is that three times, four times in this passage? She wants us to come before everybody else is paid in full by and get your sustenance. You don't have to die in the desert of sin anymore. You can come and have your soul satisfy. You said, buy wine and milk without money and without price. There's no price tag on this. That's how you can buy. Chris price tags been paid for yet to come and claim his saving gift prices already been paid. Enjoying what another has paid for so you have to be thirsty got that one down. I'm pretty sure I was pretty thirsty when I came to Christ. What about you bankrupt? Yeah, I'd realized I didn't deserve anything, but he'll for how I treated God and my sins I was lost not done and and I knew that when I stood before him at the end of my life, he would have every right to send me to a crisis eternity send me to the Lake of Fire and he would be exactly just for doing so I didn't want that and I really believe deep down inside that God didn't want that and I believe the Bible enough is enough. The Bible said Jesus came and died so that I wouldn't have to go to hell if that's the Simplicity in Christ. So just believe that I was thirsty. I was bankrupt I did come and and I was ready to claim his grace to me. You also have to understand its Eternal value.

This is worth far more than anything. You can find this side of Eternity. Think about it. And they're following the Lord. They have left everything to follow Christ. And he looks them Square neon. He says what shall I do?

Jesus said another place in Matthew chapter number 10 that you don't need to be you don't you don't need to be afraid of the people who can destroy your body know you need to fear the one who can destroy both body and soul in hell is something that happens to us after we die and we have two places that we will spend eternity and if we're wrong on this than the Bible's wrong and Dad's a liar and this book isn't true. But if it's right and then I don't have to try to rationalize this thing. I just have to believe what the Bible says that there is something is going to happen after I die. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:28. It is appointed 927. It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the Judgment if I believe that the Bible is true, then I have to stand accountable for my actions before God. death understand the Eternal value You need to see the futility of self effort in verse number two. Are the Eternal value of it by bioline? What are we getting we come to this number to he's going to say, why are you spending your money for Redwood satisfies not And why are you laboring for that? Which satisfies not correctly? Where do you spend money for that? Which is not red. watch and that's where I want your mind to be when you look at first number one again and consider. What is the Eternal value? What do I get when I come to the store what's on the Shelf? He says the water's we talked about the waters and I'll just remind you again of John 7:37. Just come to me and drink if any man thirst but then he mentions to other things. He mentions wine and milk without price without money and without price the one you know, what will start with the milk the milk of the word. We have a baby in a service this morning a beautiful picture of God's Gift of Life. Will this baby can't walk around on her own yet one day she will be able to but this this baby is completely dependent for sustenance. And so when we first we need the milk of the word and as far as we desire as newborn babies desire, but she may grow thereby if she can we come this We're going to get we're going to get sustenance that will help us with our spiritual life. Not only the milk 31-6 as give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish line to those that be as heavy hearts. Why because wind speaks of Cheerwine 9 has a hat is it is a picture of joy. And so when we just helps our heart overflows, you know, the spirit has been compared contrast that I should say has been contrasted with wine and he says,

Be not drunk with wine success, but we what filled with the spirit of the Lord. You see what happens when we coming we get the milk of the word we start to grow we get hungry for the things of God first John. I'm sorry. I had to 1st Thessalonians up there didn't I became followers of us another Lord having received the word in much Affliction with what joy of the Holy Ghost. Will you come you're going to receive Joy these things, right? We on to you that your joy may be full Jesus taught his disciples in the upper room and John never forgot that lesson and he reminds us again in his epistle.

So that we can have fullness of joy. What is the Eternal value of of what God offers us salvation the milk which helps us grow and the joy of the Lord the holy spirit that we have in our hearts the need of the recipients pay you got to be thirsty. You got to be bankrupt. You got to claim his grace. You have to understand it's Eternal value. You have to see your need you're spinning your wheels and we work our fingers to the Bone and we wind up having more money at the end of the month and we have more month and we do money and we're in trouble, you know, this is how we are spiritually to we can try to work our fingers to the Bone to earn God's grace and we will wind up short every time. It doesn't satisfy. You have to see your knee after you spend for that, which is not bread. My mind's eye a picture of them laboring as a bondservant. She told themselves again delivered from Egypt from themselves. Once again, Believers can do the same thing. Not just for the Lost unbeliever grow. Like we need to on the Milk of the word if we can come to the Fountain just like the unbeliever can and we can get shaved in a sense that we can get safe from temporal wrath and loss of teacher award and we can get shaved again in that respect delivered from that which holds his down. Do you see your need? He recognized that only God can do what he's offering. It doesn't satisfy. That which is good and let your soul Delight itself in fatness. She God is is that which we eat? Think about that statement. how to eat

Oh taste and see. The Lord is good. And this is the same thing that John try to help them understand on a hillside with Jesus when he broke the bread. It's not about the physical. It's about the spiritual taste is to experience as we said before experienced the Lord. Oh taste and see her happy is the man that trusteth in him. There's a need there's definitely do we see that need the price has been paid second week notice the promise of the ages. Promises the king is coming. The prince is on his way. Who said those words? We're coming into the Christmas season here soon will we're already in the season I guess but it's about to be the time where we start singing all the Christmas songs and after Thanksgiving and all that. We're going to hear that verse I'm sure. Isaiah chapter 9 his name Shall be Called who is that has Jesus and who's talking about the Isaiah is only someone else wrote the second half of Isaiah, which I don't by the way, I believe Isaiah wrote all of it cover-to-cover house 66 chapters of this. That's how you can take that with you. Prince is coming. Listen to the details of this promised. Look at verse number 3. He says hearken diligently punch man versus food incline your ear and come unto me hear and your soul shall live and I will make an Everlasting Covenant to come in. This is promise. I will make it Everlasting promise. We'll make it Everlasting Covenant with you. Even the mercies of David. What's this Covenant is Everlasting? What's the basis for the Covenant mercies of David? Your good Bible student has lived. After and David's been sleeping with his father's for a long time now because Isaiah is preaching and you know, he's on the cusp of the split in Civil War era that time frame when the nation is splitting and red. And Isaiah is prophesying.

How do you say that? The Covenant of God says he's going to make is an Everlasting Covenant with you even assure mercies of David.

Tell if you have a reference Bible if you have seen or called references though, give me the verse in there that takes you back to Samuel whatever the verse is. I don't have it written down in my notes, but it's a verse where God promises that that the seed of David will sit on the throne. Eternally that it will be an everlasting promise.

What happened? Is the Throne of David operating?

Some of your saying yes some of your looking like I don't know what the answer is Pastor. Just tell me make it easy for me. temporarily it's not there's no nation of Israel with a thrown there in a temple where David is sitting. Unless you're dreaming in your you a pizza or something on it. It's not alive anymore. And I know that his children that that succeeded him to the throne. I threw it away. God made a promise to David that his seat with cheat on the throne forever.

What temporarily follow this through with me? He also made a promise to check Anaya who's the son of a son of a son of a son of David is that none of his children will ever sit on the throne because he was so wicked. Cut that line off. How does God keep his promise to David and his promise to Jack and I have the same time? Trick question. I don't have time to get into the genealogy of Jesus Christ. But let me give you the synopsis of the night cover this and keep her studies and other times. Just remind you what we study in previous sermons together.

Matthew traces Jesus genealogy through Joseph because Joseph is the Earthly adopted father of Jesus. Because he didn't get the the bloodline from Joseph that bypasses the curse of. Jeconiah because if you traced Joseph's lineage, it goes through. Jeconiah back to David and Solomon. Look on the other hand Luke chapter 3 verses the genealogy of Jesus and he was a son up and Luke is Tracy in Jesus's genealogy physically, but through Mary. And Mary Lee is the sun. It is the daughter. I should say summer is the daughter of of David by descent through a different son of David David had had a son named Nathan and had a son named Solomon and so he bypassed the curse of jeconiah free Mary and Joseph. She wanted virgin birth is foundational virgin birth. We don't have the Messiah. Because God's keeping his promise to David. Covenant. Not only that you can think of the other covenants that God made with his real to Covenant that he gave to Abraham. But I also want to tell you about the New Covenant. Well, I don't know if I quite have it figured out. I believe that it ties into the cabinet of David for sure back in in Samuel when we're giving that that's going to make a covenant. I think that really their interconnected and some some way God's going to iron all this out for me. I'm sure the illogically he'll help me figure it all out. But this is the New Covenant in Jeremiah New Covenant in Jesus disciples the same man who had been called just before he tells us about the power of the Gospel to save us. He says he's the seed of David and blind Bartimaeus called him the son of David and the son of David disciples and he says this cup is the New Testament in my blood when they gathered for that communion time. If you'll listen if you incline your ear and here I will make an Everlasting Covenant with you. This is a governor promised. It is Everlasting. It'll never end. Three Ages of Plan of Salvation is always been the same. We didn't look forward to the Cross or we look back in the cross nevertheless. We look to the Cross because that is the point upon which all all salvation for Humanity in and I wish you the basics is the mercies of David. So listen to the details of the witness of the Covenant, you know, when you have a testimony you have a testament you got to have trust daters to the to the Covenant you have to have those that will come and be the witness to behold the witness of the of the Covenant. Testimony first number for he says I have given him for a witness to the people. A leader in Commander to the people. So we see he's coming and he's going to testify I'll tell you I'll just make it real easy for you this morning. That's Jesus. And then we got that nail down. No contest. Jesus wins at hands down. He came and testified on behalf of the grace of God to the entire world. You came to his own and his own received him not but as many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name. He's also Not used to be a witness to the people. We see his testimony and the testimonies of God are true. And in him he is no liar a liar. He's not capable of lack. Tell us about his authority. He's a leader and he's a commander of the people. So he's a witness to the people and he's a commander to the people in the brackets are mine because the word leader is also translated elsewhere as prince. The prince is on the way. He's a commander to the people. Let me hear some verses with you that that help us understand and Peter was preaching in in the temple Courtyard and when he gave the message to the heroes that day, he said you denied The Holy One and addressed if you go back and read Isaiah a little further down. He's going to talk about the Holy One of Israel. Peter's preaching and he's talking about them denying the Holy One and the just with a capital J. That's his name. He's the justifier of all that would come to him through faith and desire murderer Travis. And we remember the story of John chapter 19 and another places in the synoptic gospels where Jesus was crucified and pilot try to try to offer them. I'll offer a way out so that the innocent blood could be spared that they wouldn't have it. They said give us Barabbas notice what Peter goes on the same verse 15 says and killed the who is the Prince of Life? Peter had it quite nail down that Jesus is the leader that Isaiah prophesied would come. And that's who God gave this is Jesus. No other God has raised from the dead with the sacrifice of his son on Calvary. This is my beloved Son in whom I am. Well pleased to hear ye him.

Witnesses we are testifying that the word of God is true notice another place Acts chapter 5 verse number 31 before I go further. Let me tell you why I'm going to these verses. Restore versus that I'm showing you acts included in this person and other two that were going to look at all four of them are the only places that I found in the New Testament where this word is translated from the Greek. And they translate the word different ways, but they're all the same word. And these are the only four occurrences the only four That's your thinking in terms of language that will help you when you study the shop go to these horses and look it up. I mean, don't just take my word for it. Go see if it's true. You're strong and you don't have to know Greek Strong's Concordance. Look up the numbers and look at the words and count them and see if there's any more there should be only for these passages. Last chapter 5 says him has God exalted with his right hand to be a prince and a Saviour that we saw Prince Before He'll surprise there to translate Prince Philip together. taking looking Hebrews chapter 2 if you would should we see Jesus? What's his name?

Who is made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death of the king the king is on his way. This is the pro remember that were talking about in Isaiah that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man for it became him for whom are all things and by whom are all things and many sons on the glory to make the And that's the word Prince translated in the other two verses of what their salvation going to have a captain and the captain calls the shots. He shouldn't be believing that he is the one who is sent from God anointed of God to do this for us and he's made perfect through suffering one more. Looking unto Jesus and I didn't have it highlighted for whatever reason it didn't highlight looking unto Jesus Prince. He's the author of our Salvation And it begins with him. He's the beginner of it all. He's the first begotten from the dead. He's the author and the finisher of our for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and a set down at the right hand of the Throne of God. She is. This witness to the Covenant and his testimony is a witness to the people whose authority is that he's a leader and Commander to the people and then how does this promise about how people hear about the promise to propagation of the promise? If you would we see the details of it we see the witness and then a characteristics that he has propagating the Covenant. I just promised Goforth number 5 background checks and Isaiah 55. I'm I'm writing this up. I'm almost there. So hang on with me. We're going to make it to it as a goal here behold the brakes on here for just a moment. Author Isaiah 55 verse number one we have seen. second person plural Are you saying Shirley for English? I can't handle this. I know I don't hang on. I'll make it easy for you. This is why we use the King James Bible because it makes a distinction between the Yankees and the Dow and it's real simple because they've done the legwork for you and you can see the singular and the plural spelled out as clear as day and verse number one. It says what?

Is that singular or plural? Why is plural for he says I have given for people but that is nothing but why should child plural? I'll make an Everlasting Covenant with you. It's all through but now I'm verse number 5 we got to put on the price because it says behold. Sal Singular. Maybe I'll make a mountains out of molehills. Every word of scripture is profitable for Doctrine for teaching us. What's right for correction teaching us. What's wrong how to get it right now that the second Timothy tells us about Joshua call.

Who's going to do the calling?

You can figure that out. Is your homework assignment because it's not directly specified in them in the verse but let me tell you who I think it is out of the options. I mean it could be is real right and I can go along with that a tractor. That's a good way to look at it about the gospel truth people right and their Israelites by tutoring in most of the disciples tell us about salvation and about the Messiah. It could also be dated, you know, David's been mentioned in the passage. Maybe you could be the Lord or God can tell you what if we talking about Jesus as the representative of Israel. Western Bowl together cuz Jesus is is an Israelite representative of the entire nation of Israel and he has promoted this gospel through his followers. I really think that's the best way to understand the passage. I believe you innocent looking at Jesus tile shop called the how are they going to get worse Jesus today? Is he is he going around the earth telling people about this message? No, I'll be ready at the right hand of the father. So how's this message getting to them about him? But we go as ambassador's she we take this message to a lost and dying world. It's just a propagation of the good news. This is the propagation of the Gospel. So we see the details we see the witness to this promise promise lastly was the maker of the Covenant and verse number five. Just dial shall call a nation that that down though. It's not consider United States of America. But there we are in Prophecy and I said boy, that's observant. Thank you. Thank you. Dr. McGee behold the new not be shall run unto thee. Well, the world is coming to the promise of salvation, but I say is giving through Israel because of the Lord thy God. Who's the maker of this Covenant? The Lord thy God is Jehovah Elohim for the Holy One of Israel glorified for caitian happen when Jesus was crucified. He is Jehovah God the Holy One of Israel and he makes this Covenant. He's the maker and he will stand behind his word 100% And Jesus is the one who brought ultimate glory to Israel. Not even though they crucified him. He is coming to set up his kingdom he's coming again. We believe in the return of Jesus Christ the Advent of Christ when he comes to claim his on and to establish the kingdom of God on Earth perpetually and forever. This is our king and the promises is on the way. Just hold on. He's coming. It's not going to be very long. I believe I don't know what that means in God's timetable. But if any moment be ready in our heart Play to the Lord. Give me this water.

when somebody's ready to give the Eternal care of their soul to Jesus Christ in their life. It's when they're thirsty. Anchorage this morning. So go out and cast your Pearls Before Swine was just going to turn it around you take your take your teachings and go on. I don't need it move on away from here. But you know what, there are people who are thirsty and they see that this world can satisfy. Those are the people that we need to be looking for and ready because I'll tell you there are plenty of people who can indoctrinate them with false Doctrine. Can we be there to help them see through the fog and help them guide them to the to the Moorings of Truth. To where they could come in their heart and life like the woman at the well said sir. Give me this water that I thirst not Why not be ready to pour the promises of God on them as we point them to Jesus? And cry I want this water. Would you pray with me Lord? Thank you for your invitation to Abundant Life to us without Jesus would be lost. And I'm done and I pray for that one who's thirsty that they would come and be refreshed. I pray for that one who realizes they have. Nothing to offer God and they come bankrupt before you I pray that they would come and claim the Shaving gift that Jesus paid for but they would enjoy the gift of Salvation that he is made abundantly available. I pray the Lord that we would truly understand what it means to Eternity what shall it profit if we gain the whole world and lose your own soul. I pray that you would help someone see their need for Jesus Christ today. Thank you for the promise that Jesus is coming to get us we hear the details and it's based on your word and it's true from the beginning. We look to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith Lord. We observe how this whole movement moves for the propagation of the truth Lord the gospel that's given out and we consider you this morning the maker of this Covenant Lord. There's no one that can do what you've done. And we're thirsty today and we come to you and ask you to refresh our soul in Jesus name.
