18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Christian fellowship is where you love one another (Jn 15:12), honor one another (Ro 12:10), greet one another (Ro 16:16), welcome one another (Ro 15:7), show hospitality to one another (1 Pt 4:9), fellowship with one another (1 Jn 1:7), agree with one another (2 Co 13:11), live in harmony with one another (Ro 12:16), be at peace with one another (Mk 9:50), be kind to one another (Ep 4:32), forgive one another (Co 3:13), bear with one another (Co 3:13), bear one another’s burdens (Ga 6:2), comfort one another (2 Co 13:11), care for one another (1 Co 12:25), confess to one another (Jm 5:16), pray for one another (Jm 5:16), encourage one another (He 10:25), build one another up (1 Th 5:11), exhort one another (He 3:13), instruct one another (Ro 15:14), teach and admonish one another (Co 3:16), sing with one another (Ep 5:19), stir one another up to love and good works (He 10:24), serve one another (Ga 5:13), wash one another’s feet (Jn 13:14), wait for one another (1 Co 11:33), be humble toward one another (1 Pt 5:5), submit to one another (Ep 5:21), speak the truth to one another (Ep 4:25). You don’t speak evil to one another (Jm 4:11), don’t judge one another (Ro 14:13), don’t provoke one another (Ga 5:26), and don’t envy one another (Ga 5:26).
When you look in Scripture, you will never find that the Christian faith is one of ISOLATION and INDIVIDUALISM
The Bible stresses COMMUNITY and FELLOWSHIP with believers
The First Church:
BROKE BREAD together
This was to remind them and each other of the SACRIFICE of Christ
PRAYED together and FOR each other
The Christian community should be one of DEVOTION in prayer for one another
They GATHERED together for WORSHIP
They enjoyed each other’s COMPANY and PRESENCE
All of this was CENTERED around Christ and what He did for us
We are more CONNECTED than ever, yet more ISOLATED than ever.
The church has allowed itself to no longer be HOSPITABLE
When you look at the group of people you are closest to, what is it that they are leading you to be?
