In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth…Then God mad man in in who image, man and women in his image he created them.
Anger, sorrow, regret, pleased, jealousy.
Moved...
When Adam fell, When Israel was kept in bondage, when Moses interseeded to, when David sang.....(Preach)
What does this have to do with Jesus and Lazarus…what does this have to do with me.

Moved by grief (v.33)

I’m so glad that we have a savior who knows when we grieve and is moved by our grief. Hebrews says we do not have a high priest who us unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Mary, just like her sis Martha make the bold and audacious claim that “If you had been here Lazarus would not have died”.
And 33 says when Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with here also weeping, he was moved, and troubled.

Disappointed in Doubt (v.35)

It wasn’t until after they ran out of wine that Jesus turned water into wine
It wasn’t until after 38 years of being paralyzed that Christ show up to heal that man at Bethesda
It wasn’t until after 12 years of bleeding did Christ show up and heal the woman from bleeding
It wasn’t until after the boat began sink on the Sea of Galilee did Christ show up and “say peace be still.”
It wasn’t until after 18 years of being hunched over did Christ show up and say, “woman thou are loosed.”
It wasn’t until after 3 days of walking did Jesus feed the 4000
It wasn’t until after 4 days of being dead did Christ show up and resurrect Lazarus by saying “Lazarus come forth”
So “Jesus Wept”.

Motivated by Faith (v.40)

Did I not tell you?? (RUN)
Notice, they miracle did not happen until in v.41 they were obedient, and demonstrated their faith though obedience that Jesus worked. It was not until after they finally took the stone away, that Jesus prayed.
Lazarus come out…
He who had died…
Unbind him…
